Autosol GV0402 Metal Polish, 750 ml

Yes I bought this to clean my cars chrome exhaust tips and remove the black carbon deposits that nothing else would touch and yes, with 1000 metal wool it worked a treat. A bit of elbow grease and it took half an hour. A nice finishing touch for car cleaning weekend warriors like me.

Easy to use, brilliant results.

It does what you'd expect - polishes metal. Like all polishes, its abrasive, so use with caution, as you are removing a thin layer of the surface you're polishing. But it works well.

Good polish paste, I use it fory guitar frets. It gives them a nice shine

Tried it already on a convection/ glass hob. A little hesitant, but it works amazing. Tried scrubbing.... scraping etc. But this just did it. Range looks like new. Can't wait to see how it works on the chrome and aluminium on the cars. Great stuff!

I needed something to clean up some second hand nickel plated brass taps. I rang the manufacturer (Lefroy Brooks) and they told me this is what they use in their own workshop (though they use Brasso for a brass finish). They warned me not to get it on the basin itself so I used masking tape to protect it and rubber gloves for my hands. I used a J cloth to apply it and a microfibre cloth to polish it off. The paste is easy to use and goes a long way. The taps came up as good as new after one polish with a few stubborn bits needing a second application. I've now bought a big tub of it to polish up lots of other metalwork around the house.

Used this years ago to polish chrome on my cars, and forgot how good it was . Excellent value

This product is worth every penny i am a metal polisher by trade and i use the 75ml tube of this product so knew already i was buying decent polish paste. Bought this tin to use at home on my kitchen sink and came out well. If you want polishing paste this brand is worth it totally reccomended

This paste contains aluminium oxide, which is highly effective for polishing any metal and achieving a mirror-like shine. I recently applied it to an antique brass pot covered with a thick layer of dark tarnish, and the result was a stunningly reflective surface. To achieve the best results, I spread the paste on the surface, held the cloth firmly between both hands, and rubbed it thoroughly. Due to its hardness, which surpasses that of most metals, the aluminium oxide efficiently removed rust, tarnish, and imperfections, leaving the metal with a flawless, mirror-like finish.

Was recommended by a mechanic friend to polish the rust off chrome spoked wheels on a motorcycle. It also polished up an old pipe on my dirtbike. :) Happy me

Maravilloso producto, lo usé para quitar manchas de óxido de un horno y quedó fantástico. También para limpiar el hollín de una cafetera italiana, quedó como nueva y se mantiene limpia ya por varias semanas a pesar del uso diario. Una grifería cromada que tenía huellas de cal también quedó como nueva en apenas minutos. Volvería a comprar!

That's my only go to for polishing aluminum, too bad Amazon can't pack properly, can looked like it went to war but that doesn't affect the product!
