Works ok, doesn’t last long
I don’t love these because they don’t last very long, but you’d say the same thing about the original lines that came with the mulcher. Would love it if the mulcher accommodated a sturdier line, but i guess there’s a reason why you can only use lines that need to be replaced after just a day of moderate use.

WORX WG430
I am a 70 year old female. I didn't use this mulcher, but I did allow the men who rake my leaves to use it. They treated it like a new toy! After 19 bags of leaves, the plastic cutters did wear down, but I had purchased extras, and one package comes with the WORX. The only problem we had is that they filled the bags too full, and our Waste Management team will not take a bag that weighs 50#! So, don't overfill those bags.

You can do better
I bought the Worx leaf mulched and replacement string. The string that comes with the mulcher and this package of replacement is only good if you are only mulching leaves. If you have the smallest twig or branch, these strings are shredded super fast. What I did is buy 0.95 toro trimmer string from Home Depot and it just fits in the mulcher. These new lines super size the work and you can out anything down the chute. It is awesome now.

Perfect refills!
We recently got a WORX Leaf Mulcher and like it quite a lot but it goes through the red mulching line quickly. We have needed refills twice since we got the mulcher a year and a half ago. Having said that, the refills are inexpensive and the mulcher does a great job. I'm so glad that I can order these refills so easily and they are a PERFECT fit for it. We will continue to order these.
