Bosch 00611322 Dishwasher Lid Drain Pump Cover

Completely fixed our "water tap" error that had been popping up for years!!For many years, I have been chasing a "water tap" error on our dishwasher and our dishes... have not been the cleanest. I'd find a thin layer of grit on the sides of pint glasses sometimes, and the lids to the tupperwear always had a greyish water pooled in the corners after a wash. Not confidence inspiring. I tried chaging the filter. I tried doing lots of things to make sure the drain hose was cleared. Nothing fixed it, until this.This is an easy install. It's a tiny bit fiddly to find the right position, but then it snaps in easily and fits perfectly. Seems expensive for a piece of plastic, but do it! This works perfectly. Buy it. Get the original. For a part like this, you need last-millimeter precision for it to work. Our dishwasher now drains perfectly. Our dishes are cleaner than ever and best of all the dreaded "Water-Tap" error message has been gone for weeks now and I don't think it will come back.I feel like it also made the dishwasher quieter, but I may just be imagining that.If you have a water tap error, it worth buying this just to see if it fixes your problem. You probably need one anyway if your dishwasher is 10 years old or older.

Whatever this is, fixed my dishwasher, I struggle with my dishwasher for a few days until I realized that whatever this is was missing, so now it actually cycles and flushes, I think it’s dumb that it needs this piece of plastic; but hey, I’m not an engineer, I just wanted my dishes done

Works great! Throws no code. I have my “best & most dependable dishwasher ever made” back. ( accidentally bumped it slightly loose when putting the metal strainer/filter back in and it threw the code25 again, so I thought it was a knockoff. But I put the part back in place with a definite clicking sound as it seated properly and carefully reinstalled the strainer/filter and SUCCESS!)

I was having issues with my Bosch dishwasher and bout this item (Pump cover) and a replacement pump. I was skeptical because the lid drain pump cover was almost the same price as the replacement pump, but after inserting this I no longer had to replace the pump! (at least so far) The old drain pump cover must have been letting debris through causing the pump to seize up. Definitely worth buying this.

Fits my Bosch more or less... This is the first time I've replaced the drain cover in 10+ years and while it "sort of" fit, the difference in draining performance compared to the original part is night and day. For a long time I've wondered why the house smelled and somehow it turned out to be poorly drained dishwasher water being recirculated?!? I probably wore down the tab on the plastic drain tub so the new part doesn't snap in properly either, but somehow the replacement is working far better despite there being no obvious signs of wear or damage on the original cover. Dishes are squeaky clean again, though I still sometimes get error codes afterwards from leftover water in the drain which I clear by restarting and holding the start button until the timer goes down to 1 minute and flushes.
