Works Great!
I'm upgrading everything on my laptop and wanted a new quality controller. This one feels solid in the hand and very responsive. I am playing through Dark Souls and this controller responds very well to the buttons I press. I've only used it a few times as of the time of this review and haven't experienced any drift. This is good solid controller if you're looking for something durable and simple.

Good Solid Grip
This is my second controller of this brand, and this is the updated one from the original I purchased. The grip design is a bit different on this one, but just as solid as the first. Easy to use, plug and play. It sometimes gives my computer a 'this USB device cannot be recognized' message which is why four stars, but I'm not sure if that's the controller or my computer to be honest. Overall, really love this. For the price it's a solid controller, nice weight, great feel in hand, and no slipping. I like that the grip is on the top of the handles. I can keep my fingers loose but keep my grip just by pushing my hands further together and it holds in my palms. Very nice.

Good, basic controller
For Christmas, I bought my son a very expensive gaming controller and he honestly hated it. It was just too complex for him. So I returned it and got this one instead, and he likes it much better. It's a good, basic controller and that's all he wants. He plugged it in and it worked without a lot of complicated setting up. Hopefully, it'll last him a while.

Good value for money
Left bumper button got stuck inside the shoulder for unknown reason. Not a complicated process to disassemble and fix, but still. If that's not an issue, this is good value for money.

Decent budget, adjust expectations
Not good for any quick response games, shooters or even rhythm mini games. Decent backup or cheap alternative, i bought for pc games and game pass. The dpad is better than I expected overall. But i expected better, because large dead zone on analog sticks and takes more effort to play games, its kinda tiring and something i have to consciously think about while gaming. This is an ok but I don’t know if I’d purchase again. I kind of even want to return but it’s not worth the hassle.

Solid Controller
A very nice, sturdy-feeling controller. We haven't tried the bounce-off-the-floor test yet, but it feels well-made. Button presses are crisp and precise, with no discernible input lag. Zero config needed before use, and it worked immediately on both Windows and Linux with Steam. Vibration worked everywhere out of the box, and the extent is easily configurable. The turbo function can be handy in certain games, but know how it works in case you accidentally turn it on and start shooting your friends in the back at a brisk pace (based on a true story). Good long cable. All in all, a nice controller, and suitable for plenty of gaming.

Works fine, but not on Tesla
Product works fine, but on the Tesla, it is very jumpy, and does not allow for better use than simply using your finger on the screen.

This controller feels cheap in your hands, but considering the price, that's not surprising. It feels very light. Still, the important thing is that it works. I don't know how long it'll last, but as a placeholder until I can afford to get something better, it does the job. I find the texture on the thumb stick a little uncomfortable. They have ridged edges that feel rough on your fingers, but after a little while it sort of hurts a little to keep pressing your thumbs into it. Fortunately, I had some rubber covers I wasn't using lying around.

Joysticks can be really expensive these days, and 3rd party ones often get more side eye as they deserve, but a lot of the time, just as much, too... I don't think this is one of those controllers that deserves ridicule and derision, though, and the price makes it really attractive. Basically, I like it. I connected it to my PC and checked on all the buttons and sticks (which stuck a tad until I gave 'em a little massage by turning them in circles two or three times) and I was off to the races after that. It feels good in my hands, setup was a breeze since it's plug and play — what setup? — and it works exactly like it should! It's got vibration, and turbo — which I could never figure out before today since I'd never really had a cause to use it — and a nice long cable even though my USB port isn't all that far away from me. (Hey, the less I have to go behind my computer, the better!) I can easily give this 5/5 stars and recommend it for those who don't want to shell out $60+ for an official controller. Why bother? You're buying into a brand at that point... At its current price point of $30 I'd say get it, test it out, and if it's no good — and after triple-checking the return policy with Amazon, just so there aren't any unexpected surprises — return it if you don't like it. I think you will though. I certainly did!

Just wanted a clean looking simple controller that was similar either to the original XBOX controllers, or the old SNES controllers. These come in close enough to the XBOX style that I was looking for. After having some annoyances with some wireless solutions, I was looking for a simple wired alternative. Button feel is alright, but it is a little light. I do prefer a bit more heavy feel to my buttons. Materials are also lighter than I'd prefer. It's not premium feeling, but it also isn't costing a premium, so fair enough. Content with the controller for my needs and feel the cost vs value balancing thus far seems to be within my tolerance range. Can't comment on longevity as I have not had it for long yet, but will see how it holds up over time. So far so good. Likes: - Nice smooth clean looking controller. Reminds me of my classic XBOX controllers. - Feels nice in the hands. - Grippy on the sides. - USB connectivity. - Acceptable cable length. Dislikes: - A bit lighter than I'd like. Can feel the cost cutting in the materials. - Buttons are also light and can feel the cost cutting.

I've spent about 200 hours now using this EasySMX 9100 Pro controller for playing various PC games including Monster Hunter World, Spelunky 2, Hades, Elden Ring, and Super Meat Boy. Prior to this controller, I had been exclusively using Logitech's F310 controller so this review will mostly be in comparison to that. At $40, this is a great alternative to the F310 and presumably official Xbox controllers. The joysticks work just as well as the F310's. At the very least, they're still fully functional after the 200 hours I've spent so far. One thing I did dislike about these joysticks is that the texture is perhaps too rough - it does get uncomfortable when playing long sessions; I ended up placing some softer grips/covers on them. For the R/L bumpers, I prefer the F310's; these have a weak feel/feedback to them. On the other hand, I prefer this controller's R/L triggers. The size and comfort is good - even during 4 hour sessions, I didn't get any fatigue or discomfort. For reference, I've got medium-sized hands. Switching input mode is easy, but I much prefer the F310's implementation of a simple toggle switch on the back vs. holding down the Home button of this controller. Speaking of the Home button, I do wish there was a way to turn off the LEDs on it; I typically have the controller laying on my desk and the LEDs are rather distracting especially when I'm watching video or doing other activities. I end up unplugging it, but as the USB connection/cable is likely one of the first things to wear out, I would've preferred not to do so. The cable is average - there's nothing much to say about it. At 7 ft., it's slightly longer than the F310's. For this price, you won't be seeing any braided or more reinforced cabling unfortunately. I'm playing at my computer desk so cable length was not important for my use case. The plug-and-play works as advertised. I've had no issues with the controller plugged into the front IO of my PC ca se or into the USB passthrough of my monitor (Dell S2721DGF). Edit: Update, upon further review, it turns out I misinterpreted the somewhat misleading description's Hall effect advertising as it's just the triggers that have it, not the joysticks. After about 370 hours, I'm now beginning to experience drift which is disappointing.

This controller is a very good alternative to the xbox controller, it's fully wired with a usb A connector. The only issue I have with it is that it's wired but the wire is very long so it's not a big issue. I like the comfort of the controller, it feels really good to hold and fits my hands well. The textured grips on the handles also gives you a nice grip on it and it won't slip out of your hands. The analog sticks feel good, so far after a week of playing they haven't gotten stuck. The D-pad isn't the best, it's a little loose and doesn't feel that great but I haven't been using it enough to really bother me. The face buttons are okay as well, some of them are a bit loose feeling but they aren't mushy, still very snappy. While the controller does have the hall effect triggers, I'm not really noticing the feel of it. It does feel good and works fine but since I don't own an xbox controller I can't say if it feels better than that. I don't know if it's precision is any better than a normal trigger. The left and right bumpers are okay, they have a strange pressure point where it doesn't feel like the entire button is connecting and it's only one specific spot on it, no issues when playing games though. This does come with a turbo button and instructions on how to use it, I don't have any games that would make use of the turbo, so while it works I'm not getting any benefit from it for the games I'm playing. The controller does have 4 player identification, so it can be used with 3 other controllers and you can see by the blue light ring which player it is set to. The installation on windows 10 was very simple, it was a plug and play. Though when I had it in a usb hub instead of connected directly to the PC, it did lose connection quite often and wasn't detected as easily. It may be better keeping it directly connected to a USB port on the PC. I did not try this on my other consoles as it was mainly picked up to be a PC controller for me. Overall the controller is a very good alternative to the Xbox controller if you're looking for something that performs similarly but costs a lot less.
