Collagen Protein Bars, Vanilla Shortbread, 11g Protein, 36 Pack, Bulletproof Grass Fed Healthy Snacks, Made with MCT Oil, 2g Sugar, No Added Sugar

I've been buying these Bulletproof Vanilla Shortbread Collagen Protein Bars since 2020, and they've become one of the few snacks I consistently reorder. They're now a regular Subscribe & Save item because I always like having a box on hand. The Vanilla Shortbread flavor is what keeps me coming back. It has a smooth, slightly sweet taste without being overpowering, and the texture is much better than many protein bars I've tried over the years. They satisfy my sweet tooth without tasting like a typical chalky protein bar. I've noticed they seem a little smaller than I remember, although I can't say that for certain since I haven't compared them side by side with older boxes. Even so, the quality and flavor have remained consistent, which is why I continue to buy them month after month. If you're looking for a protein bar that's easy to grab on busy days, tastes great, and has earned a permanent spot in my pantry after years of repeat purchases, I'd definitely recommend giving these a try.

I have been consuming these Bulletproof Vanilla bars for years now. Was buying them at my local Baron's market, but they no longer sell them. Ordered them online August 2022. The taste was really off with this batch. When I opened each bar, the bars are covered in an oily substance but are hard and dry when you bit in. It seems as if they endured high heat before they were delivered, and the oil oozed out. This changed the flavor and consistency, which is not usual for this product. Typically, they are softer and have a good flavor. I ate them anyway because they are pricey and I didn't want to throw them out. I am going to try another order, but hoping Bulletproof sees my review so they can address their quality control.

I was going to give this product 4 stars, then decided to give it five. It's a great collagen protein bar. High quality ingredients. Reasonably low carb. Melts in your mouth. It's a little pricey but for what you're getting, it's worth it. My first impulse was to give it only four stars because -- well -- they're so delicious that they're addictive. They taste like butter cookies (but without the sugar and flour). So I've found myself eating too many of them sometimes. But it's really not fair to blame a product for being good :)

Taste is not great, BUT I always feel good after eating a Bulletproof Bar. For some reason, these bars are not nearly as tasty as they were when they first came out though. I've been purchasing for quite a while. They also dropped a couple flavor options. My blood sugar stays consistent after eating a bar so very happy about that and they are great if you are trying to do keto. The ingredients are quality which probably explains the high price. Hard to get a discount on this anywhere, so I limit how many I buy.

I was somewhat hesitant about buying an entire box of these before I tried one, however they don’t seem to be sold as singles. I decided to go ahead with the purchase and would gift them to a hardcore fitness buddy if I didn’t like them. I was very pleasantly surprised. These are really good and actually taste like shortbread. They are not too dry, not too sticky, and have a shortbread like consistency. They are a good way to sneak in some extra protein and everyone needs collagen. I have also shared a few and gotten positive feedback on all counts. I will definitely buy these again.

Taste is good but I get a stevia aftertaste. Texture is crumbly so they are a bit messy. I would purchase again.

I contacted Bulletproof and received an email back saying their bars have been discontinued "for business reasons".

Amazon needs to do a better job of rotating inventory on these. If you get a fresh batch they taste great and have a really nice texture. If you get an old batch they are stale, rancid tasting, and have a wet sawdust consistency with oil leaking everywhere. Last box I got had n August '22 sell-by date, box I just received had a February '22 sell-by.
