A must buy!!
These are awesome! So fun and works so well! My 6 and 8 yr old were able to easily draw and heat up (with just a bit of help). The instructions say to draw and then let dry before heating - just an FYI.

Does not work as advertised
Pens are not as advertised. They do not puff up. Granddaughter very disappointed.

These were a hit!
The sketch book is thick and so are the pages. The pens are more like a gel pen and glue pen combined because you have to squeeze a little to get the ink out on paper. I used an heat gun for embossing powder and it worked well but you have to be careful how long you hold it on there because the puffy ink will scorch.

Not 'puffy' and short lived puffy pens
I don't know how they made it look like these pens puffed up so nicely in the video. They barely raised at all for us and what did raise, was so sporadic. Also, after drawing one small sun with the yellow, the pen decided not to draw anymore. Acted like it was dried up, but we could see there was more paint in it. All 6 pens did this. One small drawing, then done. I would not recommend these puffy pens.

Way more difficult than expected
My daughter got this for Christmas and she is seven and a half years old so I figured she would definitely be able to do it since it said 3+ but she couldn't even get the wax tips off I even struggled with it as an adult and then when she tried to squeeze the tube slightly like the instructions say as you draw they are so hard to squeeze and get anything out that she couldn't do it at all, so I tried and could not believe how incredibly hard it was to squeeze the paint out to draw it made my fingertips sore. We ended up having to hold the heat on it for far longer than the instructions said. My daughter was super sad. The concept is such a cool idea I am hoping that maybe we just got a bad batch of paint pens or something.
