As a cop, I rely on notepads on a daily basis. I really like these because the paper is a little more sturdy than you typically find and a flip open notepad. They are also water repellent, and you can write on them with most types of pens. I find the ability to use them in virtually any weather circumstance is probably the greatest advantage. The plastic covers on front and back are also a big plus as they come in and out of shirt pockets constantly, and this helps protect the inside and allow the notepad itself to last for a longer period of time without getting beat up if you’re somebody who uses notepads regularly and in all weather conditions, I would seriously consider these and they’re much cheaper than the Write In The Rain ones which are effectively the same thing, but these are much cheaper.

Love these waterproof notebook. Very helpful for Law enforcement and security use. Nice compact notebook that will write even in the rain.

These things are water proof. I accidentally left one in my pants pocket and was tossed in the with the wash. Ink faded but the notebook survived. The paper does make it so ink will smudge horribly if not allowed to fully dry.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: A good idea. A water resistant note book, small enough to fit in your pocket. Value for money: Nice price. I bought the three pack and then ordered a second. Notebook quality: It is well made for a notebook of this type.

Right out of the gate; if YOU the reader are on the fence on buying these just do it. The quality is great and durable. I personally carry one of these notepads on me everyday in a Viperade pocket organizer in the front pocket of my jeans and always utilize it. Previously buying the Rite in the Rain brand theses are the exact same quality for alot less. Paired with a Zebra F701 pen it's a perfect match for every day carry. I have also used the makeshift ruler on the back to measure bolts and screws in a pinch as well. Testing the waterproof aspect under a kitchen faucet at full power the ink will not run or smudge and will retain whatever you write. Will be a permanent asset for my EDC and will be buying alot more in the future.
