As I have a very small dishwasher, using powder means I can use just enough for the wash. The sachets on other dishwasher detergents are too big. Also, there is no micro plastics involved, so is better for the environment.

Can't find any dishwasher powder in shops. A great find for economy programme on dishwasher. It helps if you have saved ant plastic dishwasher powder containers, just transfer over because the powder comes in an "eco-friendly" cardboard container: keeps better in plastic to be honest.

I find powder dishwasher soap is the most economical and effective, because if I have a light or small load I can use just a bit of the soap. With those hard things you are forced to use one each time whether you need that quantity or not. I can't even find this powdered stuff in my supermarkets! We are being pushed to use more expensive and wasteful things so someone else can get rich over us being wasteful by necessity. Ridiculous.

I’ve been using this dishwasher detergent powder for a while now, and overall it’s been really solid. What I like most is the flexibility- you can put in exactly as much (or as little) as you need for a given load, and it’s easy to toss a bit extra on particularly dirty dishes outside of the soap slot if you want a stronger pre-wash. That kind of dosing control is something you don’t get with pre-measured pods. Being a dry powder means it pulls off a couple of practical advantages that liquid detergents don’t: it includes both bleach-type stain-fighting ingredients and the usual detergent components in one formula, so it handles stuck-on food and stains well without having to rely on separate products. It's actually a really good price considering the store near me sells it for $1.50 more for the same size. Very effective product, does not leave residue, Good sized box, and smells really good.
