A., Rogers, Jacqueline: Books Review: 24 days of Christmas - so every year for 24 days of Christmas my son opens one Christmas book. He loves this. Not only does he get to enjoy new Christmas stories. But we also get that bonding time. If he has a favorite story then I get to read two books. It's a tradition that we lovebin our family. And it always gets us excited. But of course on the 24th day. Or the 24th of December the last book he opens for the season is 'Twas the Night Before Christmas. I have to buy new ones each season obviously because he grows and learns so much in a year. He's not interested in last years books. Although sometimes I can get away with reusing the books from the previous. This season I will probably buy 12 new books. Hahaha! Review: Cute book - Cute story . Nice illustrations

Great gift for a 2-year old...
I gave this book to my best friend's 2-year old daughter, and she loved it. She immediately delighted in the illustrations on each page and started to identify the different animals in the story. Her mom read the book to her as a bedtime story that night, and they especially enjoyed singing part of the lyrics of "O Christmas Tree" that were written into the story. I also ordered a plush stuffed Christmas mouse toy for the child to go along with the mice on the cover of the book. I thought the mice would be the ones who ended up with the littlest Christmas tree, but (spoiler alert!) the mice don't end up with the tree in the story...the squirrels who run the Christmas tree stand actually take it home and make it their own tree. No problem, the toy was still a big hit just like this book!

Book was bent when I received it
I just wanted to let you know that the books was bend in the package when I received it. No big deal for what I want to use it for (classroom) but would have been disappointed if it had been a gift. Not sure what happened - but it looks like it got bent in the envelope. Otherwise - speedy delivery - and overall happy with the book.

Sweet little story, perfect for Christmas.
This book is really really cute. And as fate would have it, I read it to my 5 year old on Christmas (I hadn't read it before) and it turns out the little critter who get's the smallest tree, his name is the same as my sons. His eyes lit up immediately, it was really the cutest thing! If your kid loves christmas, decorating, trees the whole deal then this is the perfect little book to add to your collection. It's not a hard cover, but it's the content that is sweet and perfect for christmas.

This story is adorable! Perfect for my daughter who is almost 5
This story is adorable! Perfect for my daughter who is almost 5. It's long enough that it doesn't feel like a toddler book but not so long that my daughter loses interest. She was so in to this book the first time we read it and was asking questions and I enjoy reading it too. Would definitely recommend to anyone with younger kids.
