I loved this book and enjoyed all lot fmc and mmc best combinations. Fmc is best friend’s younger sister and how he love her since school time secretly doing everything for her .. Enjoyed a lot

Well, this was not what I expected. I just didn’t feel like I was reading Elsie Silver’s work at all. If I had to pick one standout, this book was all 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐝 for me. His feelings, his emotions, his entire personality were so vivid and palpable. But when it came to Rosie, I felt nothing. No love, no connection, no emotional pull from her side.😒 Honestly, she seemed more connected to Cora (Ford’s daughter) than she ever did to Ford. And that’s not a bad thing - it just proves she is capable of emotion… just apparently not when it comes to him! Right from the beginning, it was clear that Ford cared for her - loved her - but I never felt anything close to that from Rosie. On top of that, she came across as a little uncaring, even selfish for lack of a better word… and she simply did not deserve Ford. It felt like the author spent all her time perfecting Ford and left nothing in the tank for Rosie. 🫶My favourite part of the story was Ford’s journey into fatherhood. His uncertainty, his awkwardness, him trying to figure things out, paired with his naturally introverted nature - it was adorable and so heart-tugging. And Cora, basically a tiny carbon copy of Ford, made that journey even sweeter. They slowly grew on each other, and watching that bond form was genuinely lovely. Ford was mindful of Cora’s closeness with her mother, never wanting to overstep, yet always wanting to be there for her. It was thoughtful and heartwarming. 🥀But Rosie? From the very beginning, she rubbed me the wrong way. I couldn’t connect with her at all, and eventually I stopped trying. And the way she went off on Ford in the end? That actually pissed me off. She practically accused him of acting high and mighty because he was rich, which only showed how little she knew him. What made it worse was Ford apologising for something he absolutely didn’t need to apologise for, while Rosie showed zero remorse for her own words. 𝘗𝘩𝘦𝘸! All in all, this book just wasn’t for me - though I absolutely loved Ford, Cora, and their bond. But hey, you just might enjoy it!

Basically, this book is a good-time read. It’s spicy, juicy, and absolutely perfect for your weekend binge!

I loved the banter between Ford & Rosie, the small town vibes, the journal entries, the pink scrunchie scene, the dynamic between Ford & Cora, Ford's friendship with West and literally every other characters we got to meet in Rose Hill, I loved them! Also, the spicy scenes were good! Overall, it was such a sweet, entertaining and a wholesome story.

So, this is my first book of this Author and I really liked it. Got hooked from first page and the writing, the fun, the banter, it all kept me hooked. It’s refreshing. SPOILER ALERT the Proposal wooooowwww was so perfect and so them. But two things that forced me not to give it five stars. First, it’s a book revolving around a small town story but there isn’t much of the town in it or the specifics, except for the dock. Second, at one point I felt like just to justify the word wild in title there is lots of sex, in a sort of wild form, in there. But otherwise couldn’t come across anything wild as such. But otherwise I just wanted to keep on reading.

I knew I would love this book but didn't expect it to be so humorous! Ford & Rosalie have my whole heart! They were definitely one of the top couples I read this year! I loved Rosie her entire personality was like a warm blanket and I loved how she ruffled Ford's feathers but was also his biggest protector. Ford was a mysterious character but once the things he did for Rosie were revealed I couldn't help but fall in love with him! Also the side characters were really great the comic element their dialogues added to the story was good. I'm already in love with this series and I can't wait for the next book already!

I enjoyed the book but I skipped some of the sex scenes as they were very repetitive and a little bit too much at times. But also, I think the language could’ve been calmed down a bit too many F words for my liking. Other than that, it was a book that I think most people would enjoy

If it wasn't for Willa and Cade's undisputable spot in first place for me, Wild Love would've claimed that spot with ease. Alas I'm loyal to Heartless for the rest of my life, so instead this book gets to share joint second place with Reckless (because I'm stubborn and refuse to put either at third place). The pacing of the storyline felt steady throughout and the book itself was binge-worthy and unputdownable. I will read anything about everything Elsie Silver will write... and you bet I'm already feral to learn more about West's story in Wild Eyes. Is it September yet? Rosie Belmont may have to share Willa Grant's crown 'Mean Girls' style as my favourite Elsie Silver fmc. Rosie was iconic from the very beginning when she slapped away that creep's wandering hands, as awful as that situation was, and I had the best time following her journey back home in Rose Hill. Rosie's fierce and independent nature made her a fearsome adversary against the grumpy-natured Ford Grant. Her ability to take unlikely situations in her stride and make the best of her situation was one of my favourite aspects to her character. Rosie's protectiveness over Cora and the ease in-which Cora was welcomed into the fold was everything. At her core, Rosie is a caregiver and a loyal friend. Her sharp wit had me laughing from beginning to end, and I don't think readers are able to do anything other than fall in love with the firecracker that is known as Rosie Belmont. Ford Grant Junior. World's Hottest Billionaire. I had high hopes for this man and he did not disappoint in the slightest. Beneath that scowling and grumpy façade is an unmistakeable tender, loyal and loving heart. After reeling from the shock in discovering he has a twelve-year-old biological daughter in need of help, Ford immediately recovers and steps up to do what's right. His willingness to get to know Cora and her family situation tugged at my heartstrings, and there genuinely isn't a single bad thing that I can say about this man. His love for his family and friends are apparent, and one of my favourite aspects of the story was getting to know younger Ford through Rosie's old journal entries. Getting an insight to how long Ford has pined for Rosie made that ending all the more sweet, and I'm so glad that we got to begin this new series with their journey. His filthy mouth had me blushing and swooning, and the chemistry between Ford and Rosie was explosive from the very beginning. You cannot deny the pull that they share, and as a result Ford and Rosie cement themselves as one of my all-time favourite Elsie Silver couples. Something that I find especially special about Elsie Silver's books is the side characters that we ultimately go on to see become main characters in their own books. I fell in-love with West from his very first scene, and it was utter relief to see the non-toxic dynamic when West officially found out about Ford and Rosie's relationship. That entire scene left me elated and grinning from ear-to-ear as it all felt entirely on-brand to West's character, and I cannot begin to explain how excited I am for his own story in Wild Eyes. Willa Grant is the icon. The legend. The number one Elsie Silver woman (in my opinion), and I had the best time with her appearance over the couple of chapters that she was in. I'd been hoping for a Willa cameo prior to reading the book as I was excited to learn more about the Grant family dynamic, and it was everything I expected and hoped for. Willa's appearance complimented the story as it was presented without overshadowing any of our main characters, and I love that for her. Another character I'm very excited to learn more about is 'mountain man' Rhys. Mrs Silver... I see how you just mysteriously slotted that man into the story with no real back story. Based on the information we're presented with I can already (hopefully accurately) guess his connected to the side character who introduced him, and I cannot wait to learn more about him across future books. And finally, I can't talk about the side characters without a special mention to Cora. I loved that sassy, smart-mouthed pre-teen from her very first moment on page. Beneath all of that snarky wit was just a young girl who desperately wanted to fit in and find her feet in this new difficult phase of her life, and I felt nothing but genuine pride over her determination and resilience. Watching Cora's relationship with Ford and Rosie grow was so so special, and their family dynamic was by far my favourite of the book. Wild Rose is worth every ounce of love, hype and praise that I have seen it receive and then some. This story just proved that we should all have faith in Elsie Silver and her ability to expand her world, and I cannot wait for the future of the Rose Hill series. An entire series dedicated to single dad mmc's? I'm sat and waiting.

Amazing book, couldn’t stop reading it

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | 🌶️🌶️🌶️.5 This was my very first Elsie Silver book and wow… I absolutely inhaled it. From the first chapters I was hooked and I just didn’t want to put it down. The writing felt effortless, the story flowed so naturally, and the chemistry between Rosie and Ford was everything I hoped for and more. Their banter was sharp, funny, and felt incredibly real. You could feel the tension and history between them in every interaction. And Cora… I normally don’t connect with teenage characters very quickly, but she completely stole the show. Her comments, her timing, the attitude, the humor. She made me laugh out loud more than once and added so much warmth to the story. The spice lands around 3.5 peppers for me and it was done so well. It never felt forced or like it took away from the plot. It actually strengthened the emotional connection and fit perfectly into the story and character development. This book is romantic, funny, emotional, and incredibly easy to fall into. Definitely a new favorite and absolutely a recommendation if you love small-town romance with strong chemistry, great banter, and heart.
