Unfortunately, the 2 colors will combine and blend into each other, resulting in a single color showing. For example, the blue/green will result in a even shade of green. The double color is side-by side in the filament, not a gradual fade from one to the other on the filament line. Maybe a thick nozzle will prodluce a 2-color print, but .6 and .4 just blends the colors together. Other than that, filament is fine, no problems.

This is my first experience with dual-color filament. I did a few prints with it this weekend and everything came out great. The picture of the pencil cup doesn’t do justice to the quality, it is much better in person, feeling very smooth and appearing shiny. The green areas, depending on the light, can appear to be more gold in color; I suspect that is due to a little bit of the red mixing in. I printed .20 mm layer height, 150 mm/s inner walls, 75 mm/s outer walls, at the upper recommended range of 220C due to higher print speeds. The spool appears to be wound pretty consistently so that the red is on one side of the filament and the green on the other; all the prints came out with the green on the left and back and red on the right and front, although, as you can see, there were some streaks of one color where I’d expect the other. I printed one calibration piece that has a couple spots where stringing might occur, there was none with this filament. I’m very pleased with this and will likely get some more in the other options.
