Simple to setup. I added my ingredients, turned machine on, watched it turned for 3-4 minutes, kennels were popping, and it didn't take long to enjoy the taste. Also it was very easy to clean up after eating. Performed well, no issues burning, and small enough for storage too.

So far have used the Stir Crazy half a dozen times and am very pleased with it. Would say an average amount of unpopped kernels (may be different with other corn companies). When using room temperature butter, melts it very well. I like to first put in 3 kernels and wait for them to pop before adding the whole batch. Flipping it over and using the top for the bowl is handy. Short time to complete popping. Clean up is easy. Overall happy with the purchase

Works well so far. 3rd Stir Crazy for us. I was a little hesitant after reading reviews but have no regrets. 2 tablespoons of coconut oil and it gets good and hot. Pops up nice and tender. Good non-stick surface wipes up easily. Took a couple of uses to get it broken in. Used a little too much oil the first try. 2 tablespoons is perfect. Would have given it 5 stars because I prefer a detachable cord.

love this product it works so good heats so quick and makes delicous popcorn it is v ery nice non stick and holds up great. the bowl top peice doesnt warp or melt in the dishwasher.

This unit is not nearly as well designed as its earlier model. There is the normal rim that the clear hoods sits inside of. That works fine. There is a second rim slightly inside the first. It is completely unnecessary. Clear hood is not going anywhere. Second rim catches popcorn kernels that then remain unpopped. Also, holes in top of clear hood are so large when you flip it over to eat out of hood small pieces of popcorn, unpopped kernels, etc. fall out if you do not leave the red plastic cap on. Old model had small holes with virtually no issue. Old model was a 5 this one is a 1!

Been using Stir Crazy's for years, no decades, and this is a good one. The top does not fit snug on the lid (like to pop off), but the machine itself works well.

Hence, 3 Stars I gave The bowl has so many holes at the top. too many. popcorn bits get thru all those holes The red lid keeps falling off. Even when turning upside down. Makes a mess. Cleanup is a chore. You can't clean the bottom easily. No rinsing in the sink. The bottom pan does not come off to clean. Then there is a valley along the bottom that you can't clean easily. I have to wad up a paper towel and use my fingernails to wipe. You'll have a hard time taking the lid off without turning everything over. No grip to lift the lid up. Like I said, this popper makes the popcorn perfectly, but it's not worth all the cleanup trouble and that dang bowl/lid/bottom. Should be just a bowl, no lid. and the bottom should be removable to clean. I find myself not making popcorn when I want to because of the troubles. Look for another popper that has a single piece bowl and the bottom can be removed. Not happy. I'm getting a whirly pop again. -Scott

We've been using the WestBend Stir Crazy popper, or some version of it for 40+ years and it has provided the best popcorn available. They continue to make minor improvements in looks and design. We highly recommend this product..

Bereits bei der ersten Benutzung hat die Maschine das Popcorn komplett verbrannt. Innerhalb kurzer Zeit kam sehr viel Rauch aus dem Gerät und es roch stark verbrannt. Ich musste die Maschine sofort ausschalten. Für mich ist das Gerät so nicht sicher nutzbar. Sehr enttäuschend und definitiv keine Empfehlung.

We have owned this popcorn maker for a little over 1.5 years. We use it frequently. It is still hot, fast and the coating is in good shape. We had many a maker, this is by far the best.

It nearly burned my home! This is a dangerous item. The stirring rod does not spin and it caused thick smoke in the first minue of it being on...
