No-Rinse Shampoo

Does a great job making my hair feel clean. Easy to use. I got it for a hospital stay. Very light fragrance.

TL;DR: Works way better than I expected! Probably not perfect, but good enough to get you by. Some users may not like the smell of this stuff, but I'm glad it doesn't have heavy added fragrances. Recommended. ***The Long Version*** I actually bought this stuff intending to bring it to Burning Man this year (2019), but then decided that I should give it a test run. I'm a professional dancer, one of the single sweatiest people I know (seriously: I finished a show last night looking like I'd just fallen out of a boat), and my hair tends to get oily after a couple of days without a wash. I decided to test this stuff in the middle of a week of long rehearsals during which I'd opted to bathe rather than showering. Honestly, my expectations were low. I figured my hair might come out smelling a bit more fresh and looking perhaps a bit less dishevelled. That would, to be honest, be enough for me at Burning Man. This stuff blew those expectations out of the water. My hair actually looks, feels, and smells clean after a "wash" with this stuff. Who knew? (I mean, besides the product engineers who probably spent a ton of time getting it right. I hope they know how good their product is!) I've since used it a couple of times to freshen up when I had to go straight from rehearsal to a social event without time for a real shower, and it works a treat there, too. I'm not sure how long I could delay properly washing my hair by using this stuff, nor am I at all sure how it'll play with the alkaline gypsum dust of Black Rock Desert ... But I guess I'll find out, and I'll report back. One last note: this product has a kind of chemical smell when you apply it which dissipates as you dry your hair. It leaves no particular scent behind. I don't find the initial smell offensive, nor does it cause my respiratory system (which is really paranoid and overreacts to a lot of harmless things) to freak out, but if you tend to react strongly to the smell of things like fragrance-free makeup removers, you might have trouble with this. Anyway, I continue to be pleased with this stuff, and I'll probably continue to keep a bottle around for times when a shower isn't in the cards.

I bought this for my elderly, disabled mother because she refuses to let me wash her hair (ever since she lost her husband of 35+ yrs, last month) so I needed something quick. Works good just doesn't have a scent, which i have to have scented stuff.

Great value for money, pretty good quality it rinsed hair great and drys pretty fast. It’s more sudsy than it is oily. Very light scent not over powerful. Light weight and easy to travel with. Perfect for elderly who may not be able to shower easily. We use it for my grandmother on hospice and works well with a regular reusable shower cap. I prefer this over the shampoos caps.

No Rinse is a great product for anyone who has difficulty washing their hair for whatever the reason - whether you are are ill, have had a recent surgery, have sufferered a broken bone and are in a cast, etc. It leaves your hair very clean and fresh smelling (for longer than regular shampoo does, too, at least on my own hair). However, I have found that it is really better to rinse it out if it is at all possible, because it unfortunately does leave a residue behind in your hair if you don't rinse it out. Also, if you have long hair, you might want to add a very small amount of conditioner before you rinse to detangle, (or use a spray in detangler). So if you have to rinse, then what is the advantage over regular shampoo, you might be wondering? Well, for one, regular shampoo is much, much harder to rinse out than this product, simply because of all those suds! No Rinse really was formulated for use by NASA, so there aren't all of of those suds with which to deal, so both using and rinsing this product is very quick and easy, and can be done with minimal effort, either in the bathroom sink with the aid of a glass or cup, or with the aid of some towels and a basin if someone needs to remain in bed. Using this saves time in the shower, too, if you find regular shampoo difficult to use! The No Rinse gallon size is definitely a money saver over the 8oz or 16oz. Just pour it into a smaller bottle that you can easily handle with one hand for use, as it is a liquid like water, and not a gel-like substance like regular shampoo.

Hard to say what I think at this moment. Received this yesterday and I’m due for a wash today so I decided now is the best time to try this out. My hair gets pretty greasy so I usually need to wash it at least every other day. I wanted to give this a try since I am going to an event in September where I will be camping and there won’t be access to showers 🥲 …so I wanted to find something that was easy and quick to use. So for some context, I am dealing with a mix of hair loss and regrowth after having a baby so the top of my hairline is a bit thinner as you will be able to tell in the photos. I do use specialized shampoo that’s been prescribed for me, this is what I would normally use today but decided to skip it for now (its still AM so I will probably still shower today and use it). My hair is a bit long, almost to the bottom of my shoulder blades. I did use a generous amount of this shampoo, but I focused only on my scalp and roots. It’s incredibly runny so be aware that it will run like water. It might be easier to use a spray bottle to distribute it but that’s for a later attempt, I will try to update after I do that. Photos attached: 1 and 2 are taken before the shampoo is added. As you can see, pretty greasy! 3 to 5 are after, with a quick towel dry then blow dry. Still looks kinda the same but doesn’t feel as greasy, and the longer I sit (as I’m typing this) the better I think it starts to look. It doesn’t feel bad to me and I dont think it really smells like anything after it’s dry. I’ll see how it holds up for the rest of the day and come back to bite any changes or issues.

Great for people who can't get in the shower and shampoo their hair. Easy to use and gives so much body

Recovering from foot surgery on the first foot to fix, and showering is not possible yet. Squirted Clean Life No Rinse Shampoo onto head, did not use enough to see dripping, rubbed all over head—easily having enough formula—rubbed hair with towel to dry and have an outlet near my bed for hair blower. Scalp stopped feeling itchy, hair no longer looks greasy. I feel much better! No acrobatics getting into shower, or standing at sink getting water all over the room washing my hair with sprayer at kitchen sink, just sat here with a towel on shoulders, fully dressed. Quick and easy for the weeks of recovery when, at the end, I can stop spit-baths and shower again b4 next foot needs surgery. Did NOT smell a fragrance with this No-Rinse formula (tho fragrance mentioned on description page), but that did not matter to me. Hair looks, smells, and feels clean!
