Sol de Janeiro Delicia Drench Body Butter

This is probably my favorite sol de janiero scent! It’s light a refreshing - very different than the the yellow and the orange one- both I have and also really like, but for different reasons. I love the Cheriosa 72 orange with mica for décolleté and absolutely during the winter for a little glow. I love the original yellow cheriosa 61 at night before bed because it stays on my sheets and I just love the smell when I get back into bed at the end of a long day- I also use laundry sauce- scent on my sheets and the combo is just sooo good! This delica is thicker than their other moisturizers by ALOT. But, it melts into the skin beautifully and scent stays so nicely and skin feels wonderful for 2-3 hours after application. I also love the pink one with the vitamin c in it it also smells great.

Cheirosa 59 is my new favorite scent by Sol De Janeiro. I tried the new leave in conditioner in this scent (which I LOVE!) and wanted to add a lotion for scent layering purposes. This is my first time trying the Drench Body Butter and I really like it! I might actually prefer the body butter over the body cream. It's really hydrating, I use this after I shower at night and it leaves my skin feeling so soft! The scent lasts a long time, even through my morning workout. A small amount of product goes a long way, and it's easily absorbed into the skin. It's not the least bit greasy like some body butters tend to be. The scent is not overly floral. I would say it leans gourmand smelling. The vanilla and sandalwood really shine through! I definitely recommend this, it's my new favorite product!

I originally bought this product on a whim while traveling, mainly because I liked the scent. Oh My Gosh, this body butter is the silkiest whipped treat you can possibly give your skin. It leaves your skin with a soft delicious that follows you everywhere you go. And if you really want a total spot like experience, the body gel!

Absolutely love this body butter. It is so soothing and keeps my skin so moisturized and I love the smell, it’s not too strong but smells very pleasant

Love this stuff. Thick and long lasting scent

Loveeee scent #59! The body cream consistency is thick and is almost mold able however it melts into your skin like butter! Lovely scent that ca be paired with the 59 mist or even a luxury fragrance. Very pricey but if you use it wisely it will last you a while.

This is probably the best that’s out there for deep moisture. The texture of the product is very thick and paste like, but immediately melts when you begin to rub it into your skin. Goes on extremely smooth and silky and doesn’t leave you looking greasy. Takes a bit to get fully absorbed, but so worth the wait. Skin feels like baby skin and appears smoother and firmer. The fragrance is really nice, but if you suffer from migraines, beware. The scent does not fade and will only come off when you shower. That said, one of the best body butters out there. Highly recommend. 4 stars just because I wish the scent was a little more subtle.

I generally love all of their body products because they smell amazing AND don’t do anything weird to my super sensitive skin (nearly impossible with scented lotions/creams). I’ve tried each of the variants of these jars (orange, pink, red) and this one is by far my favorite! The “body butter” tag threw me for a loop, especially in the hot summer, so I avoided it for a while but it is very “whipped” and absorbs so quickly (not my typical experience with butters)! Also, as I’ve gotten older (hello late 30s) my legs have a tendency to look dehydrated all over again within a few hours of applying lotion but not so with this one! It isn’t sticky or sweaty at all, I am obsessed!

I am absolutely obsessed with this scent! I don't own any other body lotion/butter aside from this one. It is quite expensive, but due to it's high-end quality, a little goes a long way! More often than not, this product is usually on offer. Very rich & thick, but spreads wonderfully & sinks into the skin quite fast. The scent lasts for an impressive amount of time!

The smell is not bad, but what I would like to note is that the cream really moisturizes the skin and the skin remains moisturized almost all day.

I love this product, it is super hydrating and has such a wonderful smell. It is a premium product so unfortunately quite expensive although I got this cheaper here on Amazon than buying through Mecca.
