I mainly bought these for my pancake hood as my main hood is a miller elite. The pancake hood is for outside use. Yes, the fit was perfect for a pancake hood. Lest face it they are a a typical consumable use them replace when needed. The main takeaway items that I noticed are: Meets Z87.1 standards written on the product packaging. Unlike Miller clear lens these are not marked 87.1 on the lens. This may make a difference if you are on a pipeline or a construction site and the safetyman requires it to on the lens. I have not seen one that strict but I'm sure they are out there. They do have good flexibility. Not usually a requirement in cover lens but if impacted the energy could and probably will find your inner lens. So as always front and back of glass lenses. Especially if you are grinding or buffing. Would I recommend or buy this product when needing more, YES. Thanks for reading and God bless.

Your welding hoods glass screen is your viewpoint on the work. When slag and other bits of hot metal come up and stick to it, your visibility gets worse. Slip one of these thin plastic shields in front of your glass and when it gets crudded up you simply remove the old one and slip a new one in its place. The covers are very thin and come with scratch resistant peel off covers and are individually wrapped.

My husband is just an amateur welder, and he'd hung his welding helmets in the garage unprotected. Not a good move. So we took them out, identified the autodarking lenes he would need, cleaned them up, and packed them in helmet bags. The one thing missing was the replacement for the clear lenses - the ones on his helmet were in shocking shape! Then we found these. They are just what we need. Thinner than the old lenses but that doesn't seem to matter, and fit like a glove. Price is great, and I am predicting he won't hestigate to replace a lens when it is damaged because he has access to a pack of 25!@!

I got the Ridge auto-darkening unit of the same size as these. It came with a couple of lenses. I figured I wouldn't need these so quickly, but I ran out of ER4043 wire and had to use ER5356 the other day. Let's just say that it was a mess, and I definitely needed to replace the lens afterwards. Direct fit, not much else to say about them. They work great, and with 25 of them I don't have to worry too much about being careful.
