It's says it is not but I have washed it many times on a gentle cycle and air dried - it has been fine - works great for my ankle

I tore the ligaments in my ankle in 2012. Would this be a good support to keep my ankle stabilized while working my job for 9 hours on concrete floors

I think this brace could work well for you. I have a damaged (now surgically repaired) tendon and achilles tendonosis. This is my favorite brace and I wear it from the time I get up till I go to bed. The compression part of the brace is snug but comfortable and you can control how tight the wrapping is on top of the compression. The lift to the arch from the strap is so helpful for stability and comfort. I recommend this brace. It will be snug when new, trust the sizing info.

Not very informative on what size to order...please help

Go to its official website to check your size ,there is a measuring chart.

Would this be ok to wear for an ultra trail runner? Needing more ankle support after fracturing my ankle on a trail run.

The Bauerfeind Sports Ankle Support is designed for all types of vigorous activities. We have numerous marathon runners, MMA trainers, and even nurses wearing the Sports Ankle Support. Depending upon your particular medical conditions, you might want to consult your doctor and see if one of the other Bauerfeind ankle braces is a better fit for you.
