These Blue Diamond Wasabi & Soy Sauce Almonds are absolutely delicious! The bold flavor is perfectly balanced—spicy but not overwhelming, with just the right crunch. The 40 oz resealable bag keeps them fresh and is perfect for snacking anytime. Definitely a favorite in my pantry!

If your favorite thing about sushi is the soy sauce and wasabi dip like me, then this healthy snack is perfect for you. This is my 3rd bag. I do recommend, but eat nuts in moderation, they are not a low calorie snack, though these are delicious.

I often buy the Blue Diamond Natural Grab & Go Bags and enjoy them. But as much as I like them, I sometimes find myself passing them by and reaching for the cheese curls or chips! ha! Sometimes I just WANT a little salty snack (but, I admit I can keep on eating out of a chip bag!) It is hard having teenagers in the house who can eat anything they want! (even if I wish they wouldn't.) So, when I saw these, I thought, "well maybe these will help those salty snack cravings." And they DO! Even my kids grab them sometimes!! YAY!! (They still like Doritos more...what can I say?)They are just little bags of almonds (you get about 19-20 nuts in each bag) with a very light saltiness. The salt is very fine, almost powdery, not big chunks of salt on your fingers or anything. I suppose it has to be like that because (as opposed to chips) the almonds aren't greasy enough for larger salt to really "stick" (and I even tried once with the "natural" bags!) They definitely aren't as salty as most snack things (chips, pretzels, most popcorn, cheese curls, tortilla chips, etc.) BUT!! they are just salty enough that you still get the nice almond flavor AND some crunchy salty satisfaction. I sometimes eat a bag of these and a string cheese for lunch (especially when I am trying to drop a few pounds.) It is interesting how well the two go together! I always have a few little bags of these in my desk at work. I wish they were available as Subscribe & Save...but right now they are not.These salted ones are by FAR my favorite little healthy-ish snack. Of course you can't eat 15 bags a day between meals, but if you need just ~something~...and those chips/popcorn/etc. are beckoning you...this will make you smile!p.s. And I did try to save money once and just bought the big bag...you can probably guess what happened. Yes, I ate more each time than I do with the little bags. One little bag is fine! I just have a tendency to keep on eating when they are in a big bag. They are too easy to just pop in your mouth! ha ha!!And making my own little bags of these is just too much bother. I need help with self-control! :D The little bags do that for me. Now if they could just stop me from buying too many pairs of shoes.... :D

Blue Diamond's combination of wasabi and soy sauce add the perfect level of zing to your almond snack. They are not too spicy, not can they be considered boring. These almonds are the perfect snack at work, while hosting a party, or on the road. They'll certainly keep you awake and your mouth will thank you for it. I usually order these to share with co-workers, who seem to really enjoy these spicy, bold nuts. Almonds, a healthy source of vitamins, fiber, and good-fats, seem to be all the rage these days and Blue Diamond took that perfect little nut and gave it a tune-up. The resealable 1lb bag ensures your nuts stay fresh and accessible for future snacking. If there is a downside to these nuts, it must be said that the flavored coating can get everywhere if you're not careful. It is a fine white powder, which seems to be attracted to clothing - at least in my case. :) Be forewarned! Otherwise, these things are a must buy. While I believe they are a bit overpriced here, I realize that shipping 6lbs of nuts can't be cheap. If you can get the locally for a better deal, go for it - else, if you're like me, the prices on Amazon beat the competition. Don't let the price stop you though, as these snacks are far healthier and last far longer than a candy bar or bag of chips.Overall, the fact that these nuts are healthy, flavorful, and affordable makes them a winner in my book. Blue Diamond has a full line of "Bold" almonds, but wasabi and soy sauce are by far my favorite - with jalapeno smokehouse sitting in a close second. For those looking to just sample before "investing" so much in 6lbs of nuts, consider the smaller tins or snack packs, which can be "Added-on" to your order.
