Rugged Radios Nitro Bee Xtreme UHF Race Receiver with Stereo Earbuds

I took the Nitro Bee receiver to Martinsville this year. I really didn't have 300 dollars for a scanner so I took a chance on this and it worked perfectly! Just tune to the driver frequency you want (theres a list online) and it will pick it up. It even has 2 presets, for example I had MRN and my favorite drivers frequency saved and you can swap back and forth between them! It was clear and I could hear everything the crew and driver said. My only gripe I had is I wish it was a tiny bit louder but that could just be due to the headset I had and because Martinsville is one of the the loudest tracks. Also the battery lasted all race and by the time the race was over I still had 2 bars left. Thank yall for making an affordable product, and I cant wait to use it next year at all the races I go to!

This receiver works great and provides good, clear reception from race control. The battery charge last throughout the entire race event. Practice, qualifying, and feature, including all the time waiting in the staging area. Programming the frequency takes some practice and trial and error but it's not too bad.

It's a small radio but it works and didn't cost $350

Really easy to use, very loud, durable. Holds charge for a long time.

Edit: The company reached out and gave me a full refund. For that, I have raised it a star because that is extremely important. The radios seem to work but we could not pick up anything except IMSA radio while at the track over one weekend. I can get that through an app on my phone so that is not what I bought this for. I spent hours looking up the frequencies for the different teams and slowly scanning the channels to get to each frequency and nothing. This took hours to do because it seems you can only go up and down through every single frequency. I bought this for my husband’s birthday just for the IMSA races so it was really disappointing to not be able to hear even one team. We will continue to try during different race next season. If we ever figure this out before chunking it into a box in the garage, I will update this review. For now, I start thinking of a gift to get him next year that works.

Used this for a Nascar race at Daytona. It worked perfectly & I was able to hear the drivers talking to their spotters & pit. Made it easier to follow the race. Great value.

Super Loud. Beats a Raceceiver brand any day. I charge it at the beginning of the night and it lasts for my hot laps, qualifying, heat race, and feature.

Works as it should, and I would definitely buy another if anything happens to the one I have. So far I use it for 2 years with no problems

Very good! Works great, but the only thing is the battery dies quickly.

Awesome. Love this unit. Battery was on the last bar after a race with a couple lengthy red flags. Overall about 4 hours.Highly recommend. Just keep it fully charged everyday before using at an event and turn off when not in use to be mindful of battery life.

Je l’utilise pour les course de stock car sur terre battue ou c’est obligatoire d’en avoir un. J’en ai essayé plusieurs et celui ci est mon préféré. Ayant une perte d’audition, il est super car le son est vraiment plus fort que la compétition.
