I would have given 5 stars but unfortunately the item arrived damaged, although there was no sign of it on the packaging. I had already bought one the week before and it arrived perfectly, installed easily, and it was so good I bought another one. With no reason to doubt there was any damage, I installed the light fitting as soon as it arrived. However, when I went to open and remove the tube from its box something sounded off, it must have broken in transit. Awaiting to hear from the seller as I have requested a new tube if possible, rather than return the whole thing. Will wait and see and update with the response and hopefully a full rating. Update: The seller did finally came through but it’s a shame they didn’t say from the beginning there was a stock issue because it took three emails and three interventions from Amazon and 6 days to find a resolution for the issue of the led tube supplied with the fitting , which arrived broken, to be replaced. Despite several conversations with Amazon and polite but vacuous emails from the seller, a final resolution was agreed to. Not what I wanted as this was never about getting a refund just a new tube. So the 5 stars is for the light fitting which is brilliant and works a treat with a new tube that I got from TLC electrics today. I would not be put off by my review because the item is great and I can’t recommend it enough and the seller made good.
