Works like it should!
It is working fine...!! I first used it with 12 volts it ran fine for a week..then I hooked it up to 24 volts to charge my golf cart batterys and it's been over a week and doing just the way I wanted it to do ! Next I'm going to hook the batterys up to low voltage outside lights and use them until the spring when I can put them back in my golf cart .😁

Works great so far, missing one thing.
Wish it came with a template to cut the exact hole on the wall in order to flush mount it.

Good PWM charger - Easy flush-mount install - Replaced GoPower
Started having issues charging our 300AH Lithium battery recently. I thought it may be the battery BMS but thought I'd first replace the GoPower solar charge controller that was 2.5 years old. The GoPower controller buttons never worked properly so it was time for an upgrade. As soon as the wiring was done (took 5 mins), the battery showed it was charging again. I was able to adjust the Renogy charger to 14.4 volts, which the battery manufacturer recommended. For $36 it was a cheap fix and came from a reputable company.

Reliable little charge controller
Unit is working well in my little solar powered shed with two 100 watt panels. No overcharging problems, etc. It has kept my (used, 2nd hand) battery bank charged up nicely.

Quality and Style
Obviously installing an in-wall controller has its own challenges, but it is worth the effort. I used this in my camper along with a remote unit for my power inverter and it it really a sharp setup. Most controllers are not designed for esthetics but this one does the trick. I originally used this with 4-100 AH sealed batteries and it kept them topped off all year long. I am now in the process of switching to a single 200 AH lithium battery for the camper. While I had to download the manual to figure out how to change the settings, it was an easy process. With the new battery installed, I should be able to go indefinitely with just a portable solar panel to keep it charged. I will also be able to switch from shore power to solar with just the flip of a switch.

Died after one year - update from 1 to 3 stars - back to 1 star
The first one that came had a broken button on the front. Amazon replaced it (yay). The replacement worked great for a year but is now showing E01. It basically thinks there’s no battery. I checked all connections with voltmeter and problem seemed to be the controller. (Panels putting out voltage. Battery at 12v. I took off all connections, let it sit, then plugged back in. It started working. This was in the evening. Next morning back to E01. Disconnected and let it sit several times. I hook up battery it shows 12v and battery. I connect solar panels and it’s back to E01. Don’t buy this unless you plan on replacing it too soon. Update - after taking off connections and putting them back on - several times, it appears the problem is the connection. I am using 10-2 solid wire for the battery connections. The solar panels are using a 10 ga stranded wire. The connectors on the unit do not "grip" the solid wire, but seems to do ok on the stranded wire. I have two wires twisted together for the negative and it seems to work a little better, but still not perfect. On the positive side I bent the solid wire back on itself to make it thicker and works a little better. I'm planning on changing the battery wire over to 10ga stranded to see if it solves the problem. Stay tuned. Latest update - changed the battery wires from solid wire to stranded wire. Worked at first. Was excited. Checked on it the next day - EO1 - (you got to be kidding me). Totally frustrated. The camper did not move, has the levelers down and is stable. Wires can't be jiggled loose. I didn't have time to mess with it, so I walked away. Went back the next day and its working!! Again, camper not moved, nothing changed, it just decided to see the battery. I feel I cannot trust it. I camp off-grid most of the time and need the solar power. I feel I cannot rely on this controller and will be replacing it. I do NOT recommend this product, and would give it no stars if I could.

Worked perfectly
Overall I'm glad I purchased this charge controller. It was recommended by an electrician. As a DIY for my solar system, I am not an expert so was looking for something that was easy to use and understand. CON: I inserted the positive/negative as seen in the manual but it kept showing up an error. PRO: The manual shows error messages and what needs to be corrected. It showed that the positive/negative needed to be reversed (from what was in the directions). It then worked perfectly. I like that it can show the % on each battery connected and what is coming in from the solar panels.

Easy to install, flush mount for a clean look.
Simple installation, flush mount design makes for a clean install if you are installing in a trailer. 4000 km road trip and it worked flawlessly, wires stayed in place and unit worked without issues.

Desempeño de equipo
Los equipos Renogy funcionan sin problemas, son fáciles de configurar y seleccionar el tipo de batería a utilizar, la identificación automática del voltaje es otro punto a su favor

A good piece of gear.
Own a lot of Renogy equipment. This particular charger is well built and very versatile. The terminal connections are robust and allow for easy and secure cable connections. Compatable with most common batteries including lithium. (Which is the future choice for camping/outdoor.) Easy to use, and can also be connected to the Renogy bluetooth module, or used standalone because the lcd display functions are also very good.

Great quality product but missing some key features.
Great product, excellent quality for the money but it could be improved by having a 10amp limited DC load output that's protected by a low voltage disconnect. Could also come with some simple wiring diagram examples for direct DC loads.
