Lockways Magnetic Dry Erase Board 48" x 36", Foldable Whiteboard

Got this dry erase board for middle schooler who was struggling with remote learning. He was not grasping some of the math concepts and was getting really frustrated and I could tell he was feeling defeated. He and dad started wring notes and problems that he would complete daily. Then they would spend time reviewing at the end of the day. This really helped so much. He uses it every day. He has even been writing himself inspirational messages (very shocking) daily. He practices in this board every day. It was very easy to assemble. It’s big enough to brainstorm and work out word problems. This is a great size. Very easy to clean. I paid a little extra for this one because it has that shiny finish. It easily erases and there is no marker residue. Also, when it was mounted, it stayed mounted on the wall. I was a little concerned that it would fall but it came with nails and has not moved. I thought that this dry erase board would eventually be used as a checklist for chores not just school work but he has been using it every day for academics so it is now solely for academic development. This is a great dry erase board that is the right msize for both kids and adults.

This board has been in use for months. I’ve intentionally left marker on the board. No issues whatsoever ever. Wipes off with a soft cloth or paper towel. Super simple. Have not had to use any fluids (except for following directions to clean PRIOR to use. The board looks brand new after every use regardless of how long the ink sat on the board. I’ve tried to ruin it and can’t. Following the directions work 👌😁 I’ve even examined the board over and over for subtile hints of the marker leaving residue or a light film on the board surface. Nothing I’ve done has impacted the quality of this board. ***I’m guessing anyone who’s had issues with ink remaining on the board or not cleaning off perfectly skipped the directions to clean the board a certain way prior to use.*** ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wonderful purchase 👆————-///UPDATE///———-👆 Arrived as described, well packed, and for me looks incredible. Came with hardware for installation and a tiny marker with two tiny magnets. Plus, a market bench as I’ve named it that connects to the board. Black trim while board. Back is steel color. Well packed. The box looks like the postal department accidentally caused a small hole. Other than this arrived perfect. Not used yet. If for some reason as others noted the board doesn’t clean well I’ll edit my review. Totally worth purchasing for the office 😁

I needed a place where the children can play with their magnets. This board is just the right size for my area and has a strong magnetic pull. The back is a sheet of metal so if the kids scratch the white side to much I could mount it with the metal side showing or even spay it with a spray paint made for metal items to lengthen the life and usefulness. For the price it is well made and functional! It does come with all the mounting hardware.

Cheap home-office grade magnetic whiteboards are a dime a dozen, and they're all pretty much the same thing. There were other 48x36 brands that would have probably been a little less expensive ($50-ish) and any of them would have probably done the job. I ordered this particular one because 1) It has a dark (vs. alum. colored) frame. I'm doing teaching via the web and didn't want any chance of reflection/distraction from the frame... and 2) it won some German "best whiteboard" award. Big whiteboards are notoriously tough to get shipped to you without damage- this one arrived in decent shape, no dings or marks on the front face BUT it did have some minor damage to the back. It comes with four relatively beefy hollow wall anchors - I used what they sent (vs. using better/heavier-duty ones) and they worked fine. (BTW- I teach construction-related topics to superintendents and have 40+ yrs experience putting stuff together so mounting this thing was a 10 minute job. I used a line laser (but a spirit level would have been fine) marked the hole locations, tapped in the supplied anchors and screwed the whiteboard to the wall level and plumb. So why 4 stars instead of 5? Three things. 1) The top 2 *rear* screw trims kept falling off before I could get the screw through them .. so I attached with CA glue. That worked fine. But I realized you can't see them anyway so I just left the bottom ones off. More hassle than worth, and it was quite a bit of screwing around to use them. 2) The aluminum trim around the edge of the board is *NOT* straight. The mounting holes were set with a laser, but there is a marked "sag" -a fat 1/8" - in the trim which makes the board look like it's sagging on the wall. Doesn't impact the utility but it's noticeable. The reason it's there- the side trim pieces are cut a little too long, so it pushes the corners out and creates the "sag". No way to fix this - it is what it is. 3) The pen tray is a joke. It's a short, flimsy a alum. extrusion, and it did NOT fit into the edge trim (it's supposed to snap in). Well... the back flange was about 1/32" too long to allow that to happen. Luckily I have a bench grinder- so I had to shave a hair off the length of this thing to get it mounted at all - and it was honestly not worth doing. It's too small, too flimsy- pretty much useless. I did get it stuck on there and used a couple drops of thick CA glue to "lock" it in place. So those three issues cost the product at least one star and honestly I'd like to take off half a star each... So my real score is 3.5 not 4. Keep in mind the price of this thing was premium - I could have gone to Staples and picked up their house brand - it wouldn't have been any better, but it would have cost $10-15 less. I'm not expecting this to last forever, and I'll probably build a better pen/eraser tray anyway. Overall - this board will do the job - it just wasn't stellar. I'll post a picture of the "sag" when I get a chance. It's not terrible but to anyone with a trained eye for straight/plumb/level (the people I teach) - it'll stick out like a sore thumb.

I wanted a big white board calendar, but many that I found were way more expensive and not set up how I needed it to be (I needed bigger space for the days as I attend college and have to keep track of appointments ect. for my 3 kiddos, my husband, and myself). I bought this whiteboard because of the nice size and decent price. After some measuring and drawing, this is now a fantastic calendar board :) I bought it in September 2019 and it is still holding up great, even after my toddler threw a toy truck at it! It was easy to install and there are no issues cleaning the board. The dry erase markers I use stained my previous board even after cleaning, but not this one! Sturdy quality product, and a great size for the price! Will buy again if I need another.

This item is very well made, easy to clean and easy to assemble. It is has a sturdy frame and comes with all you need to fasten it to a wall. Because it is also light weight, we were able to install it only using “3M Command Strips” and it has held up quite nicely to daily use for online teaching of kindergarten students!!! We love the magnetic feature which enables us to use a wide variety of magnetic teaching tools with this dry erase board. We most definitely highly recommend this dry erase board!!! We would absolutely consider purchasing it again in the future!!!

Needed a white dry erase board for my daughter’s learning area, but didn’t want to spend a fortune. I was wary that this may arrive damaged/defective as some reviewers mentioned. (Thank goodness for Amazon prime). This arrived promptly as promised, with a crushed corner on the box and ding on the side of the box. However, the board itself was undamaged! Hoorays. It was packaged very well on the inside with 1” corrugated cardboard along the seam and two sheets of 1/4” thick cardboard on each side of the white dry erase board. For the price and quality this met our needs perfectly. It came with mounting hardware, a small marker tray, one dry erase marker with a small felt eraser at the end of the cap, and 2 small round magnets. We are pleased with this purchase and glad we ordered this product.

Auf Arbeit nutze ich regelmäßig Whiteboards und habe dadurch natürlich schon einige "kennenlernen" dürfen. Es ist kein Profiboard, erfüllt aber im privaten Bereich mehr als seinen Zweck. Es hängt bei mir hochkant im Flur, um mal schnell Termine oder wichtige Infos aufzuschreiben. Eine Pinnwand kam daher nicht infrage. Mit ein paar netten Magneten und farbigen Markern kann man hier einiges rausholen. Trockene Marker funktionieren hier besser, wenn man das Board nur mit einem entsprechenden Schwamm reinigen möchte. Ich persönliche nutze am liebsten die von Staedtler. Da das keine trockenen sind, bleiben dezente Rückstände. Trocken abwischen reinigt nur bedingt. Da empfiehlt es sich, anstatt eines Schwamms lieber Whiteboard Spray zu nutzen. Ich finde es nicht dramatisch. Mein Fazit: für den Preis gibt es in der Größe kaum bessere Whiteboards. Ich nutze es jetzt ein paar Wochen und bin echt zufrieden.

This is the perfect size and god quality. I had no issues putting it up and it's very stable. I use it for work purposed in my home office and so far it's perfect. If you're looking for a larger whiteboard for your home, this is a great option.

Ordered 2, 1 was flawed, can’t get one area clean as the surface is rough. Tried to deal with the seller a real hassle. I whist have to live with it. I would not buy this product again for that reason.

Overall size is not 48x36 (47 x 34) and writeable size is 46 x 33 - just a heads up on this if the size is important for you

Die Montage ist super einfach, Dübel und Schrauben werden mitgeliefert. Alles in allem ein top Produkt und ein unschlagbarer preis :)
