Great for outside usage
Great. Fulfilled my expectations. Only thing I havent realized before buying, is that the part of headphones that sticks out behind head is solid and interfering for example with jacket's collar while walking and therefore moving a little bit. Little annoying. But other than that are great for my purposes (I bought them mainly for outdoors purposes, not so much for indoor work calls - in such use I cannot point out any downside. I am using them mainly for calling and listening to audiobooks and podcasts while commuting, pram strolls, walking my dog but also while running ). In the past I used many headphones for outside purposes, mostly inear buds (overhead headphones are too bulky and too isolating for me), but regardless how many microphones buds have, or what backgroung cancelling software is used, they are always too far from your mouth and pick up many outside noises, especially wind (but for indoor purposes or in quite enviroment are good). Opencomm 2 is great in this area. Great in supresing outside noises, caller on the other side could hear me always clearly. In very noisy enviroments caller on the other side could hear little background noise but it is very subtle noise, not disturbing the call and everytime my voice was clear. Even in windy conditions (for perfect usage even in strong wind, someone recommends using foam cover for mic (not in the package), but it wasnt necessary for me). When not calling, mic boom could be easily turned out of the way ( pressing little bit on my ear, but easy to get used to). But ofcourse considering that ear canals are free, calling in very noisy enviroment ( in my case on train platform) is more difficult for wearer of the opencomm2 ( sometimes I couldnt hear the person on the other end, even on maximum volume and I had to use my phone), but I was expecting that before buying. One of the reasons I chose them is exactly that I could hear my surroundings, for safety reasons. But for someone it could be disadvantage. You can also run in them, no problem (other than that problem I discribed in the beginning, depending on your clothing, running cap is also ok, also other caps). What I really like is that you can store opencomm2 around your neck when not using (but even on ears I am barely noticing them). Using buds cases I find annoying, sometimes it is hard to fish buds out of the case, in some cases that resulting in fall of the case or buds. I use opencomm also for listening music, but I wouldnt recommend them when this is you primary goal. For that money you can have great sounding in ear or overhead headphones, sounding much better then opencomm2. For music listening I use mainly other headphones.

The SHOKZ OpenComm2 is a must have tool if you Zoom or speak on the phone with clients.
I wear the SHOKZ OpenComm2 all day. I’m chatting with clients, attending a Zoom meeting, or waiting for a call. The SHOKZ OpenComm2 is very comfortable to wear and does not fatigue your ears like all-day headphones or earbud wearing causes. I also wonder if having your ear canals open to the air is safer. I work alone, so being able to monitor my surroundings is important. I like to know what my corgi is getting into when my back is turned. Bone conduction is like having an extra set of ears. I can focus on a call, but monitor my environment. The SHOKZ OpenComm2 will easily last a day. Shokz says there are 16 hours of runtime, but fortunately, I’ve never had that long a day in the office. :-) The boom mike offers superb noise reduction. I live in a windy area and have used this outside (I admit to sneaking outside to play fetch with my dog on some long calls.) with no problems being understood by clients. The controls are easy to use; I prefer tactile buttons to touch screens. The sound quality is great for hearing callers, and you can listen to music on the SHOKZ OpenComm2, but the sound quality is not as good as on the Shokz Open Run, which I own. That’s not an issue for me, as I work alone and usually have my hi-fi blaring. But, if you are concerned with music, realize that the SHOKZ OpenComm2 is designed for voice reproduction, not music. Bassheads look elsewhere. :-) The SHOKZ OpenComm2 offers dual pairing and seamless links between two devices. I use it with my phone or through the Shokz Loop (See my review on Amazon.) when using my computer. The only thing I would change on the SHOKZ OpenComm2 is the charging port. This uses the standard proprietary charger used on all Shokz units. It works well with a secure magnetic connection, but I would prefer the industry standard USB-C connection. The proprietary cable is well made, but it is one more cable to lug around and track when you travel. The carry case is hard-backed and very protective. There’s room inside for a cable and a Loop. In conclusion, the SHOKZ OpenComm2 is a well-designed bone-conducting headset that offers a solid connection, all-day comfort, and fantastic noise reduction. It is an excellent investment if you talk with clients all day.

Battery Lifespan
Overall experience is good but the battery lifespan didn’t last 16 hours fully charged, as advertised. After 3-4 hours of usage, the battery usage has already dropped to medium.

Great Headset
This is a really great headset for anyone who like bone conductors. I have used several before this one and mic sound was a problem in some situations. This one weth the mic placed on an arm that can be tilted is just perfect for phone calls, teams meetings and just everyday use. You dont buy this kind of headphone for sound quality but its surprisingly good when listening to music and perfect for speech och sound books. Highly recommended.
