WELLAND Simons Floating Wall Shelf Ledge Shelves(36-inch, White)

I bought these for a very small bathroom with no cabinet space. I was tired of putting things on the back of the toilet and another cabinet over the toilet would dwarf the room. They are just short enough that they don't stick out past where the cabinet is. We put them in a stud only because we didn't want them falling if some of the stuff put on them was too heavy. They seemed a bit wobbly, but it think it's because you put the hardware up and then these tubes stick out and you slide the shelf on them. I'm pretty confident that they'll hold up. They really transformed the bathroom. I've included the before and after pictures.

These two black floating shelves were exactly what I needed! They arrived quickly and look just as I expected. I was able to install them with no trouble at all, and they were perfect for adding a little extra storage space to my tiny bathroom. I'm so happy with them and would definitely buy them again.

The white finish is clean and modern, and they blend well with my decor. I’ve used them to display plants, books, and a few decorative items, and they really help elevate the look of the room. The 8" depth is perfect for holding a variety of items, and the size (10 inches) is just right for smaller to medium-sized displays. The shelves are sturdy once mounted, and I appreciate that they don’t take up too much visual space since they’re wall-mounted and "float." The only downside for me was the installation process. It wasn’t difficult, but I found the instructions a bit unclear, and it took longer than expected to get them mounted correctly. Once they were up, though, they felt very secure, and the whole process was worth it.

I almost didn’t buy these because of the reviews but decided to give them a chance & I’m glad I did. All the negative views are WRONG! First, I went to a local small hardware store & was going to buy different anchor & screws b/c of reviews. The retired carpenter that helped me said “why, these are great & high quality, what I would use”. I decided to take this word & the anchors & screws that come and they worked great. You have to make sure your not using the anchors in a stud. There was one shelf that I wanted it where a stud was so one side I just used the screw only & the other the anchors...no problem. The shelves are light weight but perfect for what I wanted. I used the “painters tape” method to line up the screw holes & it was easy. All this to say.....BUY these if you want them. I am no way a professional but a 45 year old “somewhat” handy women & I had zero issues. I hung 6 shelves w/no issues.

I rarely leave reviews, but this product deserves a warning label. The included drywall anchors are absolute garbage — every single one snapped. I had to substitute my own anchors (which looked nearly identical but worked flawlessly), so clearly the ones provided are substandard. Leveling this shelf is a nightmare. While there’s decent side-to-side adjustment thanks to the slotted bracket design, there’s zero vertical flexibility. If your holes are even 1/16” off vertically, you’re screwed — literally. The slots barely allow for screw clearance, which defeats the entire purpose of adjustability. Worse still, the screw holes meant to secure the actual shelf to the bracket are misaligned and poorly designed. The screws won’t go in flush no matter what. Even when I managed to get one in straight, it still protruded. And after installation, the shelf wobbled — I had to add adhesive padding between the shelf and the wall just to stabilize it. Yes, I made it work — but only after extra hardware, extra tools, and extra patching to cover the broken anchor holes and failed attempts at leveling. This product is not worth the time or hassle. If I didn’t already have multiple holes in my wall, I would’ve returned it. As it stands, I regret the purchase.

The manufacturing quality control is questionable. The mounting holes on the back are not centered properly. Normally, you would install the mounting bracket, ensuring that it is level, and then slide the floating shelf onto the bracket. If you do that, your shelf will not be level as the holes were askew on the two that I bought. Fortunately, my spouse noticed before installation and adjusted. Buy from another manufacturer that can drill their holes properly.

These are a very very stark bright white. I actually had to repaint them so they didn’t look obviously like a totally different whit color. They are NOT very sturdy and cannot handle much weight. I put stuffed animals on mine. I got two different sizes.

I have a 7.1 home theater speaker system, where I was using regular standing floor stands. It was a bit cumbersome whenever I needed to sweep or vacuum the room, to have to move the stands out of the way, and then place them back when I was done cleaning. I am now using these Wall Mounted Shelves instead and they work perfectly. They hold my speakers against the walls, where the are out of the way. These ended up actually improving the sound quality of my system, as I can place each speaker at a much higher height, about 8 feet off the ground. With regular standing floor stands, the most height you could get, would be around 5 feet. Having the speakers at a higher elevation, 8 feet, really improves the overall sound effect!!! The one negative things is that the screws that are included were too thick for my wall. I had to buy 3rd party screws from my local hardware store. You can swap out the default screws for 3rd party ones, you just have to be careful about the size.

We don’t have room for a night table in our guest bedroom so this shelf was a perfect solution. Easy to install and sturdy. I bought a stud finder, as recommended in the instructions, and installed right into the studs. Very happy with the result.

So, if you are used to IKEA then you will be disappointed. The surface is not veneer, it's plastic foil. The hardware is ultra-cheap. The manufacturing tolerances are very loose. Easy to mount but it will wobble by design because the rods are smaller than the holes and the screw holes don't grab the rods, they just stick in a big hole, like a nail. So - useable but no joy - and far, far worse than IKEA.

Will do the trick as minimalist floating shelves. Construction is pretty flimsy so wouldn't recommend for heavier items. As stated by others, the drywall anchors are brutal and snap with little effort. Use your own mounting hardware/mount in the wall studs.

The shelf has a fundamental design flaw where the bracket supports don't fit securely into the mounting holes, and the hollow construction inside offers no reinforcement to prevent the shelf from wobbling on the brackets. The plastic anchors provided are so cheap that they break as soon as you try to screw one in. Overall the quality is very poor and cheap. I don't recommend this product.
