Celestial 36" x 12" Drop-in Fire Pit Pan w/Burner, Stainless Steel, 165,000 BTU, Natural Gas or Propane, for Easy Installation in DIY Outdoor Gas Fire Pits

First item I received was damaged with two severely bent corners. The packaging seemed incredibly lackluster and it showed by the damaged pan. I returned through Amazon and quickly had a replacement on its way. Second item was received damaged, not quite as bad but there were still two corners bent. I contacted Celestial Fire Glass through their website with a frustrated message asking them to please help me. I received a response via email the next morning before I woke up, east coast versus west coast time zones, and they asked me to send some photos of the damaged pans along with a few other simple questions. They quickly sent me a new updated replacement with much better packing materials. Hooked up the pan and fired the pig off. The pan works great and the flame is intense when the gas is cranked. Thank you Celestial Fire Glass for great customer service that seems to be lacking everywhere these days.

Bought this to craft a “dual fuel” RV fire pit, where the burner is separate from wood burn area. I modified the pan to allow me to stack it on top of a Hotshot fire pit, and the project turned out beautiful. Running it at full throttle produces a wonderful 2 foot high flame (I also have a pre burner fuel mixer) that I am sure would drain a LP tank in a hurry, but I did add an adjustable regulator to turn it down. Even on a lower setting, it works well. Both the pan and burner appear to be high quality that will last a lifetime.

Bought this to insert into an aluminum outdoor seating group table. I cut the hole in the table based on the specs on the Amazon listing, but the cutout hole does not need to be as large as specified, measure the firepit and make hole only 1/4" larger diameter. Quality of the stainless is good, about 16 gauge thick and the fire burner is mounted solidly. The fire burner could have been larger, mine was 6" for a 13" tray but once filled with glass, it burns nicely. Make sure to also order a flow control valve and air mixer coupling to allow fire to burn correctly. On a propane home tap, I can create a 24" tall flame. Pan does start to warm up after burning over an hour, so mount in non-flammable table hole.

I liked the table insert. Stainless steel is thick gauge, and doesn't bend easily. Measurements are accurate and true. Glass is tempered. Threadings are true and smoothe. Assembly easy.

for your DIY project, absolutely this is a great product. Very affordable compared to off-the-shelves brands. would recommend getting the glass frame around the flames coz once the wind blows, the flames go sideways and darkens the steel base

We added this to a patio table. Love it! Fire looks great. The burner itself is very well made and definitely creates a beautiful flame! Would purchase from this company again for sure. It came packed very well with instructions included. We added fire glass from a different vendor which I love the look of, but it has pieces already breaking in half. Would probably buy fire glass from this company next time. Fyi, make sure you turn off the burner using the key and then turn off the propane tank. If you turn it off at the propane tank without turning the key, the next time you light the fire it will flame up versus just lighting gently as it should.

I purchased the 36” x 12” H burner, wind shield, stainless cover, and 40 lbs of blue fire glass. The quality of all of these products is exceptional. I built a steel framed cabinet, which I covered in cement board and brick veneer with a granite top. I plumbed a line under my patio which is connected to my main gas supply. Even my gas installer commented on the quality of the burner being installed. We’ve received tons of compliments on the glass, the blue glass is so clear and reflects light from the flame beautifully. The glass wind screen fits perfectly and in my opinion is a must have, it allows use of the fire pit on breezy evenings. I’m very satisfied with the products purchased and the customer support from CFG.

Extremely happy with this kit. Not wanting to cut a hole in the table to drop the pan in I decided to make a concrete base to set it in on the tabletop. Called Celestial with questions about this type of install. They were pleasant and helpful. Learned a little about working with concrete but that's another story. Couldn't be happier with the finished product. All of the items in the kit are good quality and work well. My only negative is the included instructions could be more informative especially for someone never working with gas or a fire pan. I would definitely recommend.

Worked as advertised, dimensions were perfect, flame is very even. Glass bead estimate was perfect and filled the tray flush. This is a great alternative to spending hundreds (or thousands) on a fire table.
