We thought we’d try these out in our little vegetable garden to deter unwanted nightly foragers (rabbits, mostly) from nibbling on our tomatoes, basil, and strawberries and such. I set them to light up brightly on motion, and they worked well for that (considering our marauding critters are all members of Mensa). But I came up with the idea of using one of them (the spotlights, not the critters) on Old Glory to follow proper flag protocol for our 4th of July observance this year. The flag needs to be lighted after sundown. I used zip ties to tie one to the railing at the base of the flag mast off our balcony and set it to low light, always on (at night). It worked great! The solar collector (south facing) collected just enough charge to make it to the morning. And it had been an overcast day! It was a little weak by the dawn twilight but still glowing! Mission accomplished. Good product, good price, good delivery, useful side benefit. Happy 4th!

So far so good! They're easy to put together and stake into the ground. I'm using the motion sensor setting to discourage critters from eating my strawberry plants and garden vegetables during the night and there are way fewer bites take out of leaves! Solar panel seems to charge well. The instructions say for it to be in direct sun, but that's not possible for one of the lights and it still works very well. Motion detected from front and sides but I haven't seen if it detects from the back yet. Light comes on bright and strong!

Best solar outdoor light! They are versatile because they come with ground spikes and mounting brackets. They have several modes of light and that makes them good in all locations. We use them in the garden, walkways and the chicken coop. We will be ordering more. The solar panel is movable and they work right out of the box.

Love these and they with stand all seasons was especially impressed with winter inches of snow and freezing weather they are still shining. Bought this set just to add more light my others I have had over 3 years no issues 😁

Okay. They come on bright with the motion detector but not as bright if left on. I wish they were bright all the time.

They shine bright and are good quality. I bought these December 2025. It is now July 2026 and they have held up very well. I bought a different brand and they have not.

Not a powerful light

I've had them for 3 weeks, & so far so good! They're very aesthetically appealing in a garden setting, & work well & reliably. The brightness of the light when motion is triggered by nocturnal animals, is great. I thought they were pretty reasonably priced, as well.
