P4 Thunder

A great replacement for my old controller and at half the price of the original PS4 controller it is fantastic value. Connected up easily with no fuss and works perfectly straight away. Battery life is solid and gives you plenty of hours of play before needing a charge, which is all you really need. If you are looking for a reliable, budget friendly alternative to the official controller this is well worth it.

This controller works great and for the price I was expecting less. The weight feels around the same as the official controller in the hand and the build quality seems solid. The charging port being USB-C is a massive, MASSIVE step up from the official controller as well making it so much easier to charge without having to fish out an old, slow charging cable. The buttons feel fine, although the shoulder and trigger buttons being ever so slightly differently positioned from the official means that any accessories you might have like grips or trigger extenders will not be compatible with this one. The d-pad is serviceable and feels fine to use but is a bit of a step back from the official controller, however due to it as I said being perfectly fine to use I feel that this is more than fair for such a dramatic price difference. The battery life so far has been brilliant and was the main reason I had to replace my controller in the first place, I have went through a few official PS4 controllers over the years for multiple reasons, but considering my main console I play at the moment is my PS5 I can't justify spending such a ridiculous price just to replace my bedroom "remote-play" system. My official controllers battery was taking forever to charge and would show 3 bars for 2 hours, then randomly drop to 1 and die very soon after. This controller out of the box was fully charged, and having been using it for over 6 hours straight now and it still being at full charge, I can pretty safely say it holds up. Ultimately, I would recommend this controller to anyone based on my experience with it so far, or more so, that I couldn't recommend anyone pay THAT price for an official controller when something like this is available. I would like to add that since this is based on my early experience with the controller and because I am recommending it to this degree, I don't even need to promise that I will come back to report if anything changes my feeling on it, I know that I will instantly HAVE to do so. So if you are reading this in the future and there is nothing added to this, that I still feel the same and had no reason to update to warn anyone about it. Happy gaming everyone!

Good controller

DOES NOT WORK. AVOID. How anyone gets this to pair with the PS4 is completely beyond me. In the instructions it says it might not work if it the controller does not have enough power. Charged it up. Still doesn't work. Disconnected existing controller. Still doesn't work. Going to get refund and get official controller instead. Shame as it looks cool.

I purchased this Ace PS4 controller because my PS4 controller had extreme stick drift & was unusable. This controller 100% works, I've been using it for a few weeks & there are no issues with my PS4. When I first unboxed the controller there was a lot of stick drift but I reset it using the small button at the back & the controller has been perfect since. I have played games with QTE events, shooting & top down games & the controller works perfectly. I will purchase again 10/10.

Like the design, but wouldn’t pair with my ps4 slim, tried the cable it came with but nothing, just ends up flashing white and switching off even after a period of charging,

All good so far, delivered as expected, nice looking controller that my daughter was happy with, easy setup.

Esperaba que no durará nada pero me equivoque llevo meses usándolo y sigue funcionando a la perfección, sí debo decir que funciona mejor cuando está conectado por cable. Muy bonito además

Comparable au controleur d'origine en terme de qualité (étonnant vu le prix). Les controles sont précis, la croix directionnelle va très bien pour des jeux de baston (peut-être un peu trop près du stick si vous avez des grandes mains ?), et les sticks sont assez précis pour du fps dans de bonnes conditions (mais peu trop souples à mon goût). A noter que la plaque tactile fonctionne aussi réèlement. Immédiatement reconnu sur PS4 comme une manette d'origine, et sur PC (linux mint 22) il faut la brancher avec son câble (manette en USB-C), aussi reconnue immediatement. Reste à voir comment cette manette résiste à l'épreuve des heures de jeu mais jusque là c'est presque un sans faute. Edit: 5 mois plus tard, après un usage d'environ 1h par jour, un stick commence à devenir trop mou à mon goût, je vais donc racheter un model d'une autre marque pour essayer autre chose. Toutefois, cette fatigue d'usure me semble raisonnable vu le prix, les contrôles sont restés précis malgrés tout, c'est toujours un bon produit, que je garde en manette secondaire.
