Deep Conditioning Treatment

I have thin dry hair that was breaking and I use this and it moisturize my hair but does not weigh it down. It is so fabulous. It’s so thick and Rich they really give you a lot for your money.

This deep conditioner provides an intense burst of moisture that completely revitalizes dry, frizzy curls without weighing them down. It rinses out beautifully and leaves hair feeling incredibly soft, manageable, and noticeably healthier.

This deep conditioner is a mask with the big guns. It's one of the most intense ones I've ever used. I have 2b/2c waves and my hair is normal-high porosity. When I use this as directed and leave it on for 30 minutes with a cap it ends up being too much moisture for my hair. It's soft and hydrated, but so weighed down. I've been CGM for 6 years, so my hair is pretty healthy. The one "bad" thing I do is color it and the best color I have ever gotten is with Nice and Easy. So, what I do use this right after coloring instead of using the conditioner that comes in the box (since it's full of silicones). I put in on after I rinse out the color and leave it on for 5-10 minutes. It doesn't end up weighing my hair down that way. If your hair is very dry, or you are just starting CGM, this would be wonderful.

I love that it's fragrance free, really thick but once applied it doesnt heavy the hair down, good moisturizer and can be used as a detangler too, good as a leave in as well

I tried this after I had been using the Curlsmith Double Deep Quencher. That product had plenty of slip, but it made my hair less curly and didn't seem to give me any extra moisture. The Jessicurl Deep Conditioner is so much better! I bought the Island Fantasy and I love the fragrance. It's a pleasant, but not overpowering fruity, tropical-type scent. I shampooed and then left the conditioner in my hair for about an hour. It may not have needed that much time, but I got busy and forgot about it.One major difference between the Curlsmith and the Jessicurl was that my hair curled up while the Jessicurl deep conditioner was in it. With the Curlsmith Deep Quencher, my hair went flat while the product was in it.I rinsed out the Jessicurl Deep Conditioner and followed it with a bit of the Too Shea for a leave-in because I wasn't sure if the Deep Conditioner would be too heavy (even though the instructions say you can use it for a leave-in). The Too-Shea gave me good moisture as a leave-in. I followed that with the Spiralicious Gel. These are the best results I've gotten in quite a while. My hair is color-treated and tends to be very dry. It drinks up conditioner, but I didn't need to use nearly as much of the Jessicurl as I do with other conditioners. My curls clumped much better than they have been too.I think my hair is between fine/normal, 2b/3a (depending on how healthy it is), and medium/high porosity (based on Curlsmith's test it seems like it may be high porosity because it absorbs a lot of product and gets wet quickly, but it can take a while to dry. I think that's because it's dense, though.)I'm pretty excited about the Jessicurl products as I usually can't use all the products in a single line and they are looking really good so far. I'm completely sold on the Deep Conditioner.

Jessicurl's products are protein free, so if you especially need moisture specifically or struggle with protein overload, this is probably a good treatment for your hair. At first it seemed to help my hair and restore moisture and curl, but after a while my hair health started to regress and look dry again after a few months of using it as a weekly treatment. I followed the directions to a T and haven't changed my routine. The last couple of times I used it, I could NOT get it to rinse out for the life of me. I've rinsed my hair 3 different times AND taken a bath and it's still clinging to my hair. This would probably be great if I had thick, coarse, super curly hair but with my fine wavy hair it looks gross and weighs it down. Weird, because I didn't have this problem when I first started using it and was even able to leave a bit of it in without this waxy residue left behind. They also really need to change their packaging. The product is really, really thick and the tube has a very tiny hole for the product to squeeze out of. It takes both hands to force it out of the tube and there's no way you'll ever get to use all of the product unless you cut the tube open.

Great stuff. Feels light when you put it on your hair and you think it won't be as conditioning as it is. Your hair just seems to absorb it and it leaves your locks soft and healthy.

I am only giving it one star because this product did not work on my curls. Does not mean it is a bad or not worth the purchase. What doesn't work for me may work for someone else.
