Play PS5 dual sense controller on PS3 wirelessly!
So far so good! Only been using a few hours so far but this device lets me play my ps3 with my ps5 dual sense controller WIRELESSLY!! After beating the Dead Space remake a few times on ps5, I wanted to go back and visit the OG Dead Space 1/2 for ps3. I got a ps3 used locally recently and my god, I forgot how small the ps3 controllers were. I used it for a few days but couldn’t really get used to the small feel and sloppy and loose feeling of the ps3 analog sticks.. I found this item here, good reviews and snagged it up. Been using it only a few hours and it works very well. No input lag whatsoever for me on Dead Space 2. Only a couple very small negatives to point out.. the device comes well packed, but there is not info on how to pair the device. Might seem straight forward- just plug it in. Yeah that works to use it wired but I had to google how to pair bluetooth.. plug it in, see that it works, then unplug and watch the unit blink, then hit the ps home button and that’ll pair it. It also did disconnect for me just once, after a couple hours, luckily I was in an in game menu at the time. I paired it again quickly and again no issues after that. I also am NOT getting any rumble or vibration feedback on my ps5 controller like I did on the oem ps3 controller. I believe this can updated on a computer on their site or something? New firmware update. I haven’t done that yet. I think some people may have issues with using different analog sticks with different systems, luckily Dead Space 2 has an option for analog stick sensitivity and I was able to find a sweet spot without much fuss, although it was basically fine to begin with. Not sure how far I’ll venture into other games with this device but it’s working for my intentions. So yes it actually works, ps5 controller on ps3, connected wirelessly. The share button is select, the options button is start, the touch pad does nothing. It transfers over very seamlessly. The home button works fine while I’m playing, though I’m not sure it turns on the system. It def turns it off. It basically feels like you’re using the proper controller. No issues other than rumble, which can be fixed with firmware update. Which I may or may not do at a later time. We’ll see how long it lasts. Buy this if you’re looking to do the same!

Perfectly use PS4 controllers on PS3
This device is a lifesaver if you have a PS3 right now. Buying the original controllers as a pain because so many are fake. It’s very hard to tell the difference until they’re in your hands. And legitimate ones are often quite expensive. Just let me use my PS4 controllers, which are more readily available and cheaper. If you’ve normally hooked up your PS4 controller to your PS3, you’ve probably noticed not all the buttons work. The biggest one is the PS logo button not working. I plugged this into the front of my PS3 and then pressed the pair button on it. Then I press the buttons on my PS4 controller for pairing. The controller synced with the system almost instantly. It worked with no trouble and I’ve used every feature on the PS3 with the controller ever since. The only thing that might bother some people is that with this thing you can’t turn on the PS3 using the PS4 controller. The device doesn’t receive any power unless the PS3 is on. That just means you have to turn the PS3 on first and then your controller - not a big deal. Very happy with the quality and price and function of this unit.

Awesome ps3 accessory!
Now using my PowerA pro Xbox series controller to play games on ps3. Works great, better control with the analog sticks and better ergonomics for long gaming sessions. Only gripe is i can’t figure out how to swap R1 and R2 as I prefer using the triggers for first person shooters and some games don’t allow you to swap controls in settings. Not a big deal but worth a mention.

ps3 is permanently upgraded now
I was skeptical like everyone else his and after scouring online for ps3 controller alternatives I came across a thread that mentioned this. Turns out it does infact let you use other controllers as a 'genuine' ps3 controller. Specifically pairing a ps4 controller to this lets you use it as a fully bonafide ps3 controller six axis and all. The only weird part is the "select" button is paired to the ps4 share button (which noone uses lol) and not the touchpad but thats perfectly fine. The sixaxis works in games that require it such as folklore and heavenly sword and ratchet and clank in some cases. The home botton does homefunctionality which is what alot of other controllers failed at for ps3. The only downside is you cant power up the ps3 with it but I use a separate power strip to power the ps3 to begin with so absolutely no issue there. ALso worth mentioning, the ps3 does not support bluetooth audio like how ps4 ps5 does natively so this cannot let you use the ps4 or ps5 controller headphone jack for audio which is a limitation of the ps3 itself and not related to this specifically. Long story short if you have a delidded ps3 which means you want to keep it long term, invest in one of these, you will not be let down. Also ps4 controller feels much better than the old ps3 sixaxis which is showing its age and needs to be charged by physically connecting to the console. This way the ps4 controller/or even ps5 can be charged anywhere.

Restores PS Button & SIXAXIS functionality on PS3!
I am primarily using this with my PS3 and Immediately on pairing the adapter to use with my PS5 controller I was surprised to see it restored the PS button functionality that you cannot use when connecting via bluetooth. It also treats the PS5 controller recognizes the SIXAXIS function for games that will require it such as Sly Cooper games! This adapter also allows you to combination press certain buttons to enter Tubro Setup & remap setup mode without needing any software to re-program it! It does not come with instructions however so I recommend watching a video for more info on how to use this correctly.

works like i hoped
I got two aftermarket controllers for my PS3, Right joy stick failed within 2 playing sessions. Got this, hooked it up, paired it to my mostly unused Xbox controller. Got back to Borderlands 3. GTG

Using a Ps5 controller on a ps3!
Best thing I could've bought for my ps3. Crazy to think I'm using my ps5 controller to play my ps2 game. I bought 2, 3rd party controllers which did not work on my ps2 game. This is super easy to use. The latency of the controller is immediate. A little pricey especially spending money for almost 2 worthless controllers but so worth it. It fits in one of you 4 USB outlets. No noise whatsoever. It's also compatible with Xbox, PC, or really whatever you'd like!

Perfect for a PS3
Perfect for my PS3. Let's me use non-DS3 controllers as a real DS3 including the PS button. Sometimes the syncing can be a bit weird, but replugging the XE2 usually fixes it.
