Q: Does this paint work on fabric?

it's normal waterbased Acrylic so would not stand being washed in any way.

Q: What colour does the colourless gel glow?

It should say at the bottom of the front of the tube. The one I bought says green, its typical "glow in the dark" colour and does glow great. I believe it is available in yellow and orange too so do check the product picture/description. :)

Q: Does this still work if varnished over the top ?

Yes, it did on the items I varnished. Some with outdoor yacht varnish, others with acrylic varnish
