LIKIMIO King Canopy Bed Frame, Storage Headboard with Charging Station

This is exactly what I was looking for, a canopy bedframe with a headboard that has a place to charge my phone. I have my box spring on the bed currently but it definitely doesn't need it. (Plan to toss the box spring soon) Which will allow for more of the padded part of the headboard to be visible and my bed won't be so high off the ground. I put it together by myself which did take just over 4 hours. Directions were easy to follow and it comes with all the tools and hardware needed to put together. The bed looks great and is sturdy and comfortable. Doesn't squeak or make noise when get on or off or laying down. Worth every penny!

We initially got this as a placeholder until we could afford a full bedroom set. We have loved this bed so much, we are actually matching our furniture to it instead! It looks very sleek, and doesn’t have the “Target furniture” look that some bed frames do. The frame is extremely sturdy, we have no worries about it collapsing even with us and our two large dogs on it (500+ lbs). It’s pretty quiet, I’m a light sleeper and don’t hear my husband coming to bed. We have not put a canopy curtain up yet, but the frame for it is just high enough that we don’t run into it at 5’10. I did hit my head once when hopping off the bed, so if you are taller (and accident prone) I would probably avoid adding the canopy bars. The headboard is the perfect size; large enough to hold what we need (a small container for headphones, meds, etc) but not so big it adds a ton of space. I love the padded back space, it’s great for reading in bed without toppling over everything on the headboard. We have a pillow top mattress, so the foot of the bed is not above the mattress like in the picture, but I honestly prefer that. We are able to climb in/out from the foot. The outlets work fine, the USB port is a little weak (I just use it to charge my smart watch) but the full outlets are great. The main drawback: This was a nightmare to assemble. The sturdiness is directly from the number of slats and frame pieces underneath the bed, and we made sure to put everything together tightly. It took around 6 hours? Maybe longer, we had to work on it after work for 2 days to assemble. When we moved, we just removed the canopy pieces and moved the rest of the frame as is because we did not want to sleep on the floor that night.

Update: gilded, the wood paneling on this bedframe and I’m thrilled. Turned out amazing! So glad I bought this frame! Reading the reviews helped a lot, and I can cosign on this bed is sturdy. Quite well made. I don’t really have a complaint, except for the bed would probably be better if I just use the mattress, but I chose to use a boxspring as well so I wish there was a way to adjust the height for that.. (A few more holes on the bottom of the support poles perhaps) but it’s not exactly a problem everything still fits perfectly the mattress is just a bit higher. Im still thrilled with this purchase. Especially for the price! Deal of the day. Also, with the weight capacity I don’t have to worry my Dobermans jumping up will bust the frame. The bed was very easy to put together. It was packed in the box perfectly (what I needed first was at the top of the box so I didn’t have to dig) the instructions were very well written. It only took me two hours to put this whole thing together By myself. And it looks amazing!

I absolutely love this bed, it is stable no wobbling and most definitely is beautiful. The instructions were clear and easy to read with no missing parts or screws.

Edit: see below for 1 year update I wanted a canopy bed frame and found this one on sale. Built it and have been sleeping on it for 2 nights at time of writing. This canopy bed frame has the option to remove the canopy poles if you decide you don't want the canopy but they still feel pretty solid even though they're removable. They're bolted on. I was able to put this frame together by myself in about 3 hours using a ratchet set. If you purchase this bed I highly suggest using your own tools rather than the ones shipped with the frame. You'll need a 4mm Allen wrench and a 13mm box or open end wrench. My only issue when building the frame was that the bolts are made of a fairly soft metal. When I was trying to torque them down I did strip the head of one out. Mine shipped with some extra fasteners but I couldn't get the bolt back out and decided if I stripped it out then I had it in tight enough. TIP: if your Allen wrench is starting to get stuck in the bolt heads that's your sign you're going to tight. Most of the bolts just need to be snug, anyplace where there's chance for flex or movement they have two bolts next to each other. This is a well thought out design in that aspect. Bed frame does not squeak and feels very solid. The wood is some kind of plastic veneer on MDF but doesn't feel super cheap, reminds me of hotel furniture and it looks nice. From a distance it looks like real wood. Padded part of the headboard is a very thin foam with a synthetic material upholstered over it. Again, doesn't feel too cheap. When I get an actual canopy to put on the rails I'll update this review. Overall I'm happy with this frame so far. Update: after having the bed frame for one year it has started to develop some squeaking/creaking when getting in and out of bed. I imagine I could re torque down the screws and eliminate some of that but I haven't bothered yet because it doesn't disturb me that much. Still pleased with this bed frame overall. At time of writing it looks like they no longer offer the king size that I purchased.

Surprisingly sturdy and quiet bed. It has exceeded my expectations. If I could change anything it would be that the headboard shelf was a little deeper. I assembled it by myself with no issues. I would absolutely buy it again.

I usually do not do reviews but with this product I have to. I love this bed frame and such a sturdy well made bed frame. Its quiet, pretty easy to put together, no missing parts and so sturdy which surprises me The quality is really great for the price. Love tbis bed and will recomend to alot of people. Measurements are true to size and love the little shelf with charging station too. So happy I found this bed frame with a canopy. I bought a full size and mattress fits perfectly.
