The hole is if patient is incontinence the full slide sheet is for moving patient in bed or were ever . If you try to move a person with that opening you will cause problems with buttocks will cause rash or shearing

Just way too big lol - I got it in hopes to cut it in half if so huge to make a bedside toilet cover for the expensive bedside toilet I bought here that arrived with slits on the seat . Perhaps something will come to mind. This reminds me of hoyer lift slings being so huge & awful lol . It’s not for placing under you to be transferred to a wc or to a toilet or to roll ya - unless you are tall and huge.

I ordered this in the event that I am called to care for my relative. There has been a few incidents where each of us had to take turn to care for someone with limited mobility and this bed pad will help with turning as I am not that strong at 5'2". The material and stitching looks to be sturdy and should get the job done.

We got this as a 2nd option to turn my grandparents while they are in bed. It is very easy to use as well as flexible. it offers great stability for the whole body. The hole allows for great space to change my grandparents dipends. It is also very easy to store in a closet or under the bed.

This Positioning Bed Pad with Reinforced Handles has very good quality stitching and durable fabric. It's definitely helpful when caring for people with limited mobility. It works well and is easy to use. It's easy to wash by throwing it the washer, but it does need to air dry. A big help and am ordering another to have on hand during laundering.

I had to sew a piece in to cover the hole.

The hole helps to keep the area clear to wipe
