Best purchase for bug free comfort - in or outdoors
A Game-Changer for My Buggy Back Porch! I bought the Safer Home Catch 360° Cordless Flying Insect Trap hoping it would help with the overwhelming number of gnats and mosquitoes on my small back city porch — and it has exceeded my expectations! This spring has been especially brutal with rain and the bugs have been absolutely abundant. Our porch was becoming unusable in the evenings. Within two days of plugging in this trap (well, charging it — it's cordless!), I noticed a significant difference. The 360° UV light really pulls the insects in from all directions, and I’m surprised at how many it catches every night. I love that it’s completely chemical-free, so it’s safe to have around our family with children. The 10-day rechargeable battery is fantastic — I just charge it every week or so and it keeps running strong. No cords dangling, no messy refills, and it’s quiet enough that you forget it’s even there. If you’re dealing with gnats, or other flying pests indoors or on a porch/patio, I highly recommend this trap. It works super indoors on fruit flies too. This product is effective, easy to use, and actually works. Best purchase I’ve made for bug free comfort this season!

My doggy night light 🐶
Quiet, Effective Indoor Fly & Gnat Control! hiJrg“LARGE” ggvlv“LARGE”. Also a safe night light 💡 Living in Florida with backyard chickens and a home that sees its share of fruit flies, gnats, and the occasional moth, I’m always looking for safe, non-chemical ways to keep the indoors bug-free — especially around the kitchen and near my mother’s room. The Safer Home Indoor Plug-In Fly Trap (SH502) has been a fantastic addition! Setup & Design Super easy right out of the box. It’s a compact, white plug-in unit that blends nicely into any outlet (looks a bit like a night light). Comes with glue cards already included — just peel the protective film, insert the sticky card, and plug it in. No tools, no mess, and it starts working immediately with its UV LED light. Performance This little trap really pulls in the flying pests. The UV light attracts fruit flies, gnats, house flies, and small moths, and they get stuck on the StickyTech glue card. I placed one in the kitchen and another in a high-traffic area, and within hours I started seeing results. It runs 24/7 quietly with no zapping noise or chemical odors — perfect for indoor use around pets and family. The glue cards hold a surprising number of bugs before needing replacement, and extras are easy to order. It covers a decent area (claimed up to 400 sq ft per unit), and I’ve noticed a big drop in random buzzing insects. Great for those pesky fruit flies that show up near produce or the sink. Pros: • Chemical-free and pet/child-friendly • Very discreet and quiet operation • Effective UV attraction for multiple flying insects • Easy to install and maintain (just swap glue cards) • Doubles as a soft night light • No mess compared to sprays or traditional traps Cons: • Glue cards eventually fill up and need replacing (but that’s expected) • Best for small-to-medium flying insects; larger flies may take longer • Needs to be placed near outlets where bugs are active This Safer Home trap is now a staple in my house for keeping things sanitary without harsh chemicals — especially valuable with backyard birds and a multi-generational home. If you’re dealing with indoor flying pests, this is a reliable, low-effort solution I’d buy again without hesitation. Highly recommend for kitchens, pantries, or any indoor space! Perfect for Amazon Vine reviewers or anyone wanting discreet, family-safe insect control.

Works better than I expected for the money
For the money, I am impressed with how effective this plug-in fly trap is. It does its job very well and, in my experience, works even better than the other name-brand trap I tried. It is easy to use, simple to set up, and quietly takes care of small flying insects without any hassle. I like that I can just plug it in and let it work in the background. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. It is effective, affordable, and definitely worth trying if you are dealing with fruit flies, gnats, or other small flying insects indoors.

Fabulous flying insect trapper!!
I know how helpful pictures are for believability, so I’ll attach one! Don’t judge me, I had no idea what these were for the first couples of weeks. So yes they overran my house for a bit. But that is no longer! We are now free from the clutches of these nasty little 💩’s. I recently moved to Florida, and never in my life had I experienced so many (what I thought were gnats - I’m still unsure what the hell they actually are 😂). For the life of me I couldn’t figure out where the swarms of these pesky little things were coming from. I am originally from up north, where the only things that resemble them that we get are fruit flies. I couldn’t figure out why they were everywhere when none of my fruit was rotten or even remotely bad. Until I did some googling and found out these little demons are called Drain Flies. They live and breed in your drain, lay eggs and come out in SWARMS. I tried every remedy to kill them off. I cleaned my drains, I poured all kinds of chemicals down there. I googled every which way to kill their eggs, catch them. Tried the whole apple cider vinegar, water and soap trick. Where the apple cider vinegar is supposed to attract them, and the surface tension of the soap is supposed to get them stuck and they sink into the water below….noooope! Nothing worked. I’d still see them flying all over the place in my peripheral vision, and to top it off I now had a nasty little vinegar cup hidden in my corner smelling like dooky. I, like every other rational person, ran to Amazon for a solution. And I found LOTS of them. My first go to was going to be that light and fan thing, where the light attracts them and the fan supposedly sucks them in to their demise. I really didn’t care which one I purchased, as long as it worked. I saw the reviews and pictures of this one and figured I’d give it a go, and if this one didn’t work, I’d try the other one I mentioned. Day 1, the first few hours, it caught absolutely nothing. And I thought “greaaat. This thing isn’t going to catch anything and I’m gong to have to deal with this pests for another few days while I wait on another order” Day 2. I woke up, not expecting to find anything, and lo and behold, there were 10-15 flies on it. My prayers had been answered! Day 3. Not going to lie, I forgot I had it plugged in Day 4. I checked again, and this is what I found. The picture attached. Absolutely gross 🤢. Don’t ask, I have no idea how all these nasty little creatures lived in my sink without my knowledge. I must just be that blissfully unaware. I thought I only had a few…clearly I was wrong I’m on like Day 10 now. I waited awhile because I wanted to make sure it continued to work before posting this review. I haven’t seen another fly / gnat besides in the trap, since Day 4, nearly a week ago. Not one. However, the trap is still lit up, and still as sticky as it was on day 1. There is a faint blue glow, it’s a pretty pleasant. It’s just like a night light. It makes 0 noise whatsoever. It’s SO easy to remove and replace the sticky pad. You pull the stick piece up out of the part that attaches into the wall, and slide a new one in. So simple, yet so effective. If you’ve had these nasty little critters flying around your home for far too long now, try it. You won’t regret it. If it doesn’t work in the first spot you put it, move it around. These things supposedly come out of the drains, yet for some reason it catches far more in my bedroom outside the bathroom. So find what works for you. Also, it turns sideways if need be. So if you have a sideways plug, you can still plug it in and swivel it so it’s face up! I hope this review helps some of you choose this, and rid your life of these nasty little buggers!!

Great chemical free trap
This insect trap is fantastic. The setup was so easy, just read the quick instructions and you are ready to go in less than 1 minute. I dislike dealing with chemicals and they made this chemical free. The sticky boards are very easy to install. You can move this around to different places without needing an electrical plugin near because you can charge it. The size is perfect and does not take up too much room. They do send a charging cord, but you will need a wall charger to use with this. This company is definitely on the correct path designing this trap.

Very effective and works best at night when the rest of the house is very dark. Bugs like light.
This is not a magic product as it will NOT stop the source of your bugs but it will continue catching flying bugs as long as you've got them. Bugs are attracted to light so you won't see this too effective during the day. It does its best work at night when the lights are out as these have a bright blue light that attracts the bugs. We had a plant that gnats called home and grew a large family so we used these to capture all of the loose gnats while we removed the source. It took about a week but eventually they all disappeared. I got the 2 pack. Put one upstairs and one downstairs in dark rooms with little to no light at night. After a few days, both had at least 10-15 bugs each. After a week, they all disappeared. Highly recommend.

Great design. Easy to use and charge and install sticky cards. Attractive and silent.
Neat design. Easy to install sticky cards. Looks good for use inside. Recharges so no batteries needed. However . . . ours only "caught" , "trapped" one moth in 4 weeks of use. I placed it in the garage because there are more moths and flies and bugs out there -- caught one moth in the first two days. After that, didn't catch anymore. Moved it inside because we've been having a few flies infiltrate and also have been seeing gnats. Didn't catch any. I like the way it comes apart and "snaps" together magnetically. Very cool. The blue LED color is very bright and a single charge lasts a LONG time. The sticky cards are easy to install. The design is excellent. Will be interesting to see how it works long-term for catching pests.

Basically flypaper with blue light.
The device is quite simple. It plugs into a standard AC socket in your home and it makes a blueish purple light. Many but not all flying insects tend to like that light spectrum and will gravitate around it. The card attached to the device is essentially one-sided sticky fly paper. Any insect trying to get close to the light will likely walk over the lit up card surface facing the socket and become stuck there and die. The appeal of already dead insects on a card will often attract even more. You occasionally replace the card when it is covered in dead insects or when the sticky material no longer works. Many bugs could care less about blue light and will 1st go to the tastiest source of food first. Most insects are also attracted to the carbon dioxide you breath out. Also lights nearby that are brighter than this will attract the insect first. These traps work best in a dark room with no other lights and no snacks available to them. If you are providing sources of food or sweaty people or pets or other light distractions, youll find these useless. These will tend to trap those insects curious about the light. Also large flies will sometimes just rip their trapped legs off on the sticky area and fly away to live another day. So depending on your type of flying bugs and their feeding habits, you may or may not catch anything with these. For me here in AZ, we get tiny little brown gnats that come in the cracks in doorways or dry drains and constantly buzz human faces for that CO2 hit they crave. They are attracted to lights and land all around them. They are so tiny and fast that swatting them is almost impossible. We have ponds within a block or two and so they hatch there and then seek out the lights elsewhere. I can fill one of those hanging fly strips in a month. But those fly strips are ugly and smell bad. I sure wouldnt have a big fly strip where anyone can see the dead bugs or where there is food cooked or consumed. I plugged in one of these devices in my kitchen and one in my bathroom and one in my living room and one in my bedroom. They work for trapping these tiny annoying gnats. This device serves the same purpose as a fly strip with the added benefit of a light attracting them to it. The ugly dead bug side of the card faces the wall socket. You only see what looks like a night light and white card. You wont likely even notice it in the daytime. While I don't like having to pay $25 or so for refills, I hate gnats buzzing me more. Usually within an hour of a gnat getting inside, its found its way to the trap. Although I havent tried it, you could probably also stick some sort of dry bait to the card to further entice their interest. I did deduct 1 star because it isn't foolproof and some flying insect types just dont care if it's there or not and will ignore it.

Bueno para mosquitos de fruta
Me gusta porque atrapa los mosquitos de la fruta, pero nunca a caído un zancudo y menos una mosca, pero aún así me a servido.
