Well-made and solid great for focus stacking. Very pleased at this price point.

The device is well built and does the job. The only down side is that the base is designed for a tripod with a bush screw size of 3/8" . My tripods are 1/4" as I think most are these days. It would have been nice if an adaptor had been included in the box. I purchased a Manfrotto adaptor which does the job. (Manfrotto Set Of 5 Reducing Bushings 3/8" - 1/4") .These are if the correct depth to screw in without causing an obstruction to the moving parts. I found that the other reducers available on Amazon were to deep!

OK and well made except for macro photography the slide has slightly too much play, so the image moves as you turn the handle in. This can be reduced by tightening the locking screw so I am happy to use it, however although this offers good value, in retrospect I should have bought a more expensive one in the hope it would be more accurate.

This focus rail disappointed me for the following reasons. 1. There is no 3/8" to 1/4" adapter to enable attachment to a standard tripod head. 2. The rail is a lot smaller than expected with a usable travel range of just 12cm 3. The small size means a decent sized mirrorless camera or DSLR will become unstable when placed on the rail. 4. The rubber on the feet don't always stand proud of the metal stand so the rail wobbles as not all four feet are level and the metal foot can scratch work surfaces. Other than that it's okay. The quality of the product looks good and the item is well packaged. The item has a nice finish. I think it would more suit a very small camera rather than a modern DSLR or mirrorless camera. It's far too small.

The Sirui MS18 Macro Rail is well built and everything it's described to be. Uses a lead screw mechanism that allows for very fine, controlled adjustments, especially for techniques like focus stacking. It is a budget-friendly and well-regarded option, particularly for its sturdy build and useful features.

Super leichtgängige Kurbel mit angenehm langer Übersetzung zur präzisen manulellen Steuerung des Schlittens. Ich weiss nicht, ob es bei anderen Modellen hier eine feinstufige Rasterung gibt. Man muss halt nach optischen Eindruck kurbeln, halbe Umdrehungen sind keine Problem. Bei kleineren Schritten muss man sich etwas konzentrieren. Kein Vergleich mit den schwergängigen Billigprodukten, die ich vorher hatte. Unter Traumflieger.de wird eine Stackingvariante gezeigt, bei der unter Dauerserienfeuer bei relativ kurzer Belichtung zügig durchgekurbelt wird mit hervorragendem SoftwareStacking Ergebnis. Das hat mich inspiriert. Verwende Zerene, es klappt alles bestens. Kleines Manko: mit montierter OM1 Cam und langem 90mm Makroobjektiv ist der Schlitten mit Füßchen leicht wackelig. Bei Kurbeln besser mit der anderen Hand etwas stabilisieren. Breiterer Abstand der Füßchen wäre da etwas besser. Damit kann ich aber gut leben. Alles wunderbar. Auch ohne Stacking hervorragend geeignet, um sich bei 2:1 Vergrößerung an genau diesen Maßstab heranzupirschen. Was ich noch nicht probiert habe, ist dei Montage auf Stativ. Ein Montagegewinde ist an der Unterseite schon mal vorhanden.

Je me suis fait voler dernièrement mon Nikon D500. Si j’avais eu ce dispositif je suis certain que j’aurais retrouvé le voleur ! Très simple à utiliser il équipe maintenant mes boîtiers photos à chaque sortie.

ふた昔ぐらい前の定番品のベルボンのマクロスライダーに、アルカスイス互換のクランプやらベースやらを付けて使っていましたが、余りにも重く、腰高になり過ぎ、いよいよ使い辛いと降参して機材更新しました。 スクリューギアとの噛み合わせを外して大きく動かせるのが、SIRUIを選んだ決め手です。 前後、または左右の一軸方向だけの軌道ですがギアもスムーズで、傾けても自重で落ちたりしません。 2軸の調整をするには上に同じものを重ねて装着すれば良いようですが、必要に応じて考えれるのは良いですね。基本前後さえあれば事足りる撮影がほとんどですので。 クランプ付属のベースプレートですが、短辺方向にズレと落下防止の爪があります。折り畳む事ができるので、邪魔にはなりませんが、普通はプレートの長辺側にあるものなので、なぜ無理やり付けたのか理解に苦しみます。SIRUIのこだわりの部分ではありますが残念ながらあまり汎用性のあるものではないので、そろそろ諦めてやめればいいのにと思ってしまう部分ではあります。 話が少し逸れましたが、スライダーの出来は満点だと思います。 この手の商品は、現在一万円を切る商品が人気ですが、セールなどで一万円を少しオーバー程度になった際には、これに決めて後悔はないと思います。
