Yes the 25 cent price on the packaging seems a bit retro it's true, but if you can actually find the smaller packages at the 25 cent price, (like you could years ago), now that would be a find. Not sure its a ripoff actually. We bought this for the convenience as opposed to the larger bulkier bag and Movie theater quantities usually found in the stores
