I bought this wireless cctv system to monitor my horses at my home. This system replaced an old wireless cctv system we had and rather than buy the same again I was tempted by Hiseeu for the excellent price and features. I was looking for recordings and a wifi connection rather than having to plug in the ethernet cable to the NVR which meant I could position the NVR in a more suitable location in my home to get signal to the cameras outside at the horses barn. I got the system set up in the house and all cameras connected easily, it was literally plug and play. We then positioned the cameras externally where the old system cameras were. All cameras except one connected first time. The 4th camera needed to be relocated to an external position as it was in a shed and the signal was struggling. Although I have to say the help chat was super helpful to offer suggestions to solve the problem. It's also good to know that I can purchase an additional peice of equipment (range extender) to boost the signal relatively cheaply if I need it in future. After a couple of wifi drop outs the system seems to have settled down perfectly and I have some fantastic quality footage of my horses in their bed at night ( night vision has great clarity too) and wandering round their dry lot and field. I love the system, partly because I didn't have the recording feature previously, so I will have hours of fun watching my boys! All in all a super simple system, very effective, easy to set up (I am not technically minded at all) very responsive customer help to iron out any teething problems ( although there were very few). The cameras themselves provide a crystal-clear 5MP picture, and the wireless setup was a breeze. The system has been reliable and gives me peace of mind. My initial problem with this unit, though serious, was enough to reduce my rating to 3 stars but only reluctantly so. Since then I've had enough other issues that I don't feel reluctant about it any longer. There is some good about this device and I'll outline that later, but I want to cover the issues first. The first and rather serious issue was the broken power adapter housing. When I first was trying the cameras and base unit out I had everything on a table top plugged into a power strip right in front of me, and when I was ready to start moving things around the house and started removing the power adapters for the cameras one half of the adapter's housing came apart: a narrow section with little area to grasp remained in the live socket while the bulk of the housing simply came off in my hand (see photo), leaving exposed electricals where they could have easily been touched. After carefully removing the remainder of the adapter I examined the housing and it appeared that some of the mount points were cracked. Not wanting to go through the hassle of a return I opted to wrap a bit of tape around the entire housing and I don't even notice it now. But due to this significant safety hazard I felt the loss of a star was probably warranted. Next up is the silence from the support team. The instructions provided a contact at Hiseeu to email regarding getting desktop software to monitor the cameras instead of the phone app. After almost four days there's been no response to my inquiry at all. Not an encouraging sign. But the last issue wiped away any of my reluctance to remove a star: the ethernet port on the back of the base unit simply stopped working. I had originally put on a cable that was a touch too short when I originally set things up and wanted to swap in a longer cable (no, not so short as to put a strain on the port, as I wouldn't be surprised that trying to make this my fault will be attempted). I did this without powering the unit down first (which seems can only be done by simply cutting the power, something that concerns me wrt possible disk corruption) since I've never had any issues with hot unplugging/re-plugging ethernet in over 40 years of working with networked devices. So I plugged in a new cable at the switch on an empty port and then pulled the old one out of the Hiseeu base unit and plugged in the new cable: no power/transmit lights came back lite up on the Hiseeu's ethernet port. I gave it a few seconds, nothing. I re-plugged in the old cable, nothing. I tried various combinations, rebooted the base unit, tried different ports-- the ethernet port on the base unit seemed dead. I verified that the it wasn't the cable by plugging in an ethernet dongle on a laptop using the same cable and it lit up and connected to the network just fine. So now I had to switch to using Wifi for the base unit, something I was trying to avoid. But here we are. And all of this is a shame really, as otherwise it isn't a bad product at all. The cameras seem robustly fabricated and the mounting bases are surprisingly versatile in positioning the camera at the needed angle. The camera body does get in the way of the aerial in some orientations but it is mostly easy to keep that upright in a good position. The nighttime illumination and images are good for a material distance as long as you don't have something like a bush nearby in the frame to reflect the infrared and confuse the aperture on the camera (which causes distant objects to go black). Images are good for the price point. I was a little surprised that license plates reflected a bit too much and they could be hard to read in the dark, but I suspect that's a problem with all such cameras. The white alarm light is good and bright. On the base station, the software is pretty straightforward to use, and provides enough options that it actually caused me to think about new things that would be nice to add such as turning on the lights on demand rather than just as an alarm (maybe they aren't well suited to such continuous operation). The settings and screens are hierarchically arranged and it's mostly easy to find what you want for the most part, but it can be a bit less than obvious where certain settings can be found, and it's easy to forget where you previously found something. But it does have a kind of logic of its own that you get used to. The phone app is similar, but I still haven't found some equivalent functions on it that I've used on the base station. So in the absence of the other issues I've identified this product would have been a solid four stars: not perfect, but having solid features that deliver the desired functionality pretty well. But the quality control issues, lack of robustness that call into question how reliable the rest of the unit will be when you are crucially relying on it while away, and lack of responsiveness from support all warrant the deduction of a star, and some could argue it should lose more. But the other strong aspects make it worth 3 stars.

The 5MP picture quality is crisp and clear, and the overall setup was very straightforward. However, the wireless connection can be a bit unstable, and the cameras lose connection from time to time. I managed to solve this by setting the NVR to auto-restart every few days, which keeps everything running smoothly. A great system overall, just needs that minor tweak to stay reliable.

This is a great product and I would highly recommend others. The camera system is very easy to set up with excellent instructions. The wireless cameras mean file less cables so it’s too much tidier. The use of the mobile app gives me great control over the camera system. I was provided with excellent customer support to resolve any queries in questions I had.

An amazing upgrade from my original Camera set up. I now have full view of my studio, with great vision during the day and at night time. The motion detection is a great feature. My Studio has never felt safer than it does now. Very easy to set up and install, the instructions are easy to follow

Out of the box, I loved this product. Easy to set up, great picture quality, strong signal etc. Then, after just under an hour, the 12v 2amp power unit to the NVR failed. I tested the NVR itself by using one of the camera power units and it booted up quite happily (though indicating there was no storage facility because the 1amp plug couldn't run the hard drive). The NVR itself was therefore OK. So, I set up a return and replacement from Amazon. As ever, a highly efficient process, and the second Hiseeu kit turned up the following day. Great again, straight out of the box; for 45 minutes. At this point exactly the same fault as on kit #1 - the 12v 2amp power supply to the NVR failed again. Thinking it MUST be something I was doing, I contacted Hiseeu - twice, actually; Johnny & Jason. And yes. it was acknowledged in both cases the power units had failed. They kindly offered to send me a replacement, but having been bitten twice in 48 hours by the same fault, I'd lost confidence in the product. It may well be the problem is only in the batch/shipment from which my two kits came; that I can't know. But both have now been returned for a refund, and I've invested in an alternative kit - not Hiessu! I'm keeping my fingers crossed...

Bought this system because it was wireless x 4 cameras and didn't want pull up all my floorboards and run over 40 meters of ethernet cable from living room to external garage plus outside. Plugged in followed instructions and set up was simple. Playback is easy off phone and I haven't got to pay for cloud save and storage unless I want that extra security, just use the hardrive. Playback on tv with mouse provided gives some good options, i shuffled number 3 camera to 4 so gave me better orientation with up and down street. Camera gives good picture in sd and even better hd quality when switch. You can see image set up of 4 cameras.

Il kit si presenta bene, ho già provato ad installarlo buona visione notturna. Ho contattato il servizio clienti per una giusta configurazione hanno risposto subito e risolto ogni dubbio. Consigliato.

Después de 10 meses de uso recomiendo este equipo tanto por el software como por el hardware, también indicar que el servicio técnico de 10, tuve un problema con el disco duro y en dos días me lo cambiaron.

Buon prodotto, facile da installare, ottima ricezione, peccato che l'nvr fornito supporti una risoluzione massima da 3MP mentre le telecamere del kit sono da 5MP tanto valeva comprare un kit da 3MP ad un costo inferiore.
