It does work with PCs, tablets and phones, and the Nintendo Switch (Switch 2 not tested). One of my big annoyances about the Nintendo Switch is that the JoyCons use a physical potentiometer to detect the motion of the joysticks, but any dirt or dust getting between the contact on the joystick and the contact strip below will cause the controller to detect unintended motion - in other words, JoyCon drift. This controller does not have that flaw. Both of its joysticks and both of its triggers (so all the analog inputs) use Hall Effect sensors, which do not have any parts coming into contact with each other, so it cannot suffer from this drift problem. The switches under the buttons are well made and provide a nice click. In addition to being immune to drift, this controller also supports Six Axis motion, so tilting the controller works as expected. How does it look? Pretty good to start with, but it also has a detachable faceplate, held in place by magnets, so you can swap the silver look in the photo with the included white faceplate, and the tops of the grips also have removable magnetic covers, so you can change the black grips to white also. The box is attractive and sturdy, and includes a manual and a USB-C cable. Given the high build quality and features, this is a great bargain! Review: This may be the best controller I've ever purchased. Multi-device compatible. - I purchased this controller for a mini-PC, living room TV setup, with its primary usage on a Windows 11 OS for Steam and emulation gaming. This device connected very easily using the BT mode, and Windows 11 recognized the gamepad without any issues. The controller itself is very sturdy, weighty and has a solid grip to the hands. It feels quality. The button push has a quality feel you get with premium controllers and matches my XBOne controller. I like the swappable faceplate idea, but have found the default purple was attractive enough not to mess with changing those. What I love most about this controller is the compatibility with mulit systems. I've tried it with my Win11 PC using BT, Wired and Wireless 2.4GHz. I've connected it with my Switch, and it even works flawlessly with my iPad. CON: Wireless 2.4G is very spotty. My only warning is that if your intent is to only use it with the wireless 2.4GHz mode, the range is poor. I was 12-15ft away from the PC on the couch, and if I put the controller in my lap and blocked the line of sight to the PC with my knees, I lost the signal. You can easily lose signal at that distance by just pointing the controller upright towards the ceiling. The wireless mode required me to point the controller directly at the USB dongle without anything in the way. BUT! Bluetooth is the way to go. I have no reason to keep it in Wireless 2.4G mode, When I'm connected with Bluetooth, the responsiveness is an A+ at the 15 feet, regardless of how I sit or position the controller.

Recommend this controller
Normally don’t bother with reviews. But thought this one deserved it. I’ve had the controller for almost 3 years now. Have had almost no issues with it. Normally run it on Bluetooth on my pc and works great. Only a couple times I’ve had issues with it connecting. But I think it was more my pc rather than the controller. Either way would recommend this controller.

Worth Every Penny
This controller is a fantastic value, can't recommend it enough. Feels well built, with it mostly feel premium, save for the material of the face buttons. But the button mechanisms themselves feels great. The joysticks feel buttery smooth as well. Battery life is good too. Only have to charge once every 3-4 days. I typically game from dusk to dawn. The sticks and triggers all feel great. Buttons are nice and tactile. The face buttons being clicky is something that I especially like. Feels great to hold and feels about the same weight as an original Xbox One controller. The controller does have its issues though. The back paddles are nice, but I find myself occasionally hitting them when I don't mean to. Perhaps the mechanism to trigger them could be made a bit firmer? At least with my PC, I did find that the controller might on occasion disconnect when trying to turn it on, requiring me to reset the dongle on my PC. Also, the mobile app is not good. The English translation is extremely poor, and there aren't many features. This likely explains why it's only available through their website. Despite these flaws, I can't say I have much bad to say about gaming with it. It really is a joy to use. And it feels doubly great coming from an old Xbox controller that had unusably bad stick drift. A great controller for the price.

Best controller I've ever used
The controller feels just like an original Xbox Core Controller except it weights less and has a longer lasting battery rechargeable and extra buttons. I use it daily on Warzone, it performs really well using the 2.4ghz mode but wired has the least amount of input delay. I have used the Bluetooth on my phone but I do not play phone games too often and also my phone weights more than the controller making it hard to play on it. Best $40 dollars spent on a controller, ever. Pros -Build quality -Connectivity works great ( Wireless 2.4ghz and wired ) -2 back buttons ( I use A & B for cooking in warzone ) -No stick drift( I use 0 deadzone on the left stick and 2 deadzone on the right stick for warzone ) -Comes with replaceable face plate for extra customization -Lightweight -Great Battery life Cons D-Pad quality ( not a problem since the games do not require use of the D-Pad like a fighting game. ) Turbo mode ( It's only a con because it could *potentially get you ban in games like warzone, If you use it you get a message saying unsupported Device warning ) I have owned dozens of controllers in the past, from the core xbox controller, to the elite, dualshock 4 and dualsense. The only controller that I consider as a better is the Dualshock 4, besides that this controller is great for those who want to play FPS shooters without worrying about stick drift. I've owned 3 dual sense controllers, 2 damaged from stick drift extremely fast. Imagine paying $200 USD to get a controller that is going to get stick drift in 2024, couldn't be me.

Lots of connection issues
I bought my first x10 on May 11th about 8 months ago. I instantly fell in love with it. I was so happy with my purchase that on September 9th I ordered a second controller and even talked friends in to buying the X10. In November I started having constant disconnect issues. The dongle stopped working for both devices on my PC. Bluetooth kept dropping connection. When I try to reconnect as other reviewers have mentioned the controller shows up as another input device not an xbox controller. Then I have to forget the controller and try to pair again. After 3 or 4 attempts sometimes I can get the bluetooth working. At first I thought it was because I swapped out my wifi antenna with a newer one and thought maybe it was interfering with my signal. So I swapped back to my old antenna. Then I thought maybe my bluetooth sound bar connected to my pc May be causing problems so I bought a wired set. I'm still having problems. I tried updating the firmware on the companies elusive website and didn't have any luck. I'm now stuck using this controller with a wired connection to my PC. I seriously have 12 gampads including 2 of the X10s and these controllers after our honeymoon phase have turned out to be a headache. I bought them with the expectation of being able to play wireless and I can't do that.

Controller is nice, but Bluetooth mode on PC stops working randomly
I've had this controller for just under a month now, and while I like the mechanical buttons, the shape, and the white and black swappable trim pieces, its Bluetooth functionality has been faulty. When I first connect it to my computer via Bluetooth it will show up as an Xbox 360 controller. Then, after about 10-30 minutes, it will sometimes disconnect on its own despite my continued use of it and the battery being fully charged. When I try to reconnect it via Bluetooth sometimes it will reconnect okay, but several times it has shown up as a different type of controller called Pro Controller that doesn't work with the games that I play (they expect and Xbox controller). I've decided to return this one in exchange for a new one, so we'll see if the new one has the same problem. I'll update this review once I've had a chance to test the new one out. The USB wired and wireless modes (using the included USB dongle) do work well, but I prefer using Bluetooth so I expect that to work properly. I haven't tried the Nintendo Switch mode. I did download the Android app available on the EasySMX website, but it did not offer any firmware updates for the controller. It was relatively easy to customize the 2 macro buttons to my liking, and it also allowed me to configure dead zones for the joysticks and triggers among other things. It also allows you to recalibrate the joysticks and triggers should the need arise, which is nice. I noticed that when you use the app to configure the controller it causes the controller to show up to the phone as a different type of Bluetooth device, so I'm assuming that something is causing it to switch to that different mode randomly while I'm using it with my computer. Maybe they could fix it via a firmware update if the replacement controller doesn't solve the problem.

Great controller back bumper broke after one year
The controller worked great until about a year in when the back bumper broke off but they have been great and offered to replace it with a new product! For the customer service alone I would definitely buy from this company again!

One of the best for the money. Great quality!
A great controller for PC, android, iPhone, Switch, Steam, etc. NOT for XBox or PS5. Very satisfying controls. All mechanical clicky buttons instead of rubber membrane. LONG lasting Hall Effect triggers and joysticks. Face plates can be swapped out if that interests you. No light show (who cares?). Really well made and can hook up using Bluetooth, WiFi Dangle, or USB wired. A great controller at a very good price. I am very happy with it and recommend it!!

Absolute best value for money to easily compete with any brand name gamepads
I consider this X10 for PC (but also Mac!) by EasySMX, or for other devices like the Nintendo Switch for example, to be as premium as any official offering by more "brand" name companies. There is so much offered here I don't even know where to begin. Let's just start with the exterior of the device. I have an XBOX S also that comes with a white controller. As a 2nd controller, I bought a "space titanium grey" version that I use primarily, and save the white ones for when friends play with me. This unit is unique in that it offers those same two colour varieties... in one controller! There are custom plates that can be seamlessly added or removed, by simply switched them around and they click on easily and (I believe) magnetically. Such a cool feature just to begin with. But then there are a substantial amount of extra, programmable buttons across the entire unit, and fantastic vibration features. What I like the most about it, is that it's a proper Bluetooth device, and can connect to my modern laptops both PC or Mac, without the need for a dongle, which happens to be included in case you're using this controller with some kind of non-bluetooth capable device. Some say that IR controlling is a faster wireless connection. That might have been true once but bluetooth is so fast now, and this is clearly up to that standard, I have no latency issues using the bluetooth only connection. Whatever the case, the IR dongle is there as well. The unit can be charged via USB-C and the included cord is braided fabric, which is very nice and comfortable to move around with if you're keeping it attached to play. Again, there is no latency I can determine while using bluetooth, but in case you're picky about it, you certainly can play with the cord attached. There is nothing I don't like about this gamepad, it's everything I would expect from a premium game pad three times the price, but you can get it for an amazing value in this package without having to pay the extra. For gamers, this kind of value is priceless. 5 stars.

A Solid Choice for Gamers
The EasySMX X10 PC Controller offers a range of features for gamers looking for a versatile and customizable controller option. With a focus on personalization and precision, the controller introduces several notable functionalities. Customization Options The controller's magnetic swappable faceplate feature allows for a degree of personalization, enabling users to adjust its appearance according to their preference. While this adds a layer of visual appeal, the actual impact on gameplay or controller handling is minimal. Precision and Control Equipped with hall effect joysticks and triggers, the EasySMX X10 promises improved input precision. This technology aims to enhance the gaming experience by offering smoother and more accurate control. However, the real-world difference may vary depending on the user's sensitivity to controller input nuances. Battery Life A standout feature is the controller's extended battery life, boasting up to 40 hours of gameplay on a single charge. This longevity is convenient, reducing the frequency of recharges needed during extensive gaming sessions. Mechanical Keys The inclusion of mechanical keys is intended to provide a more tactile and responsive gaming experience. While they do offer a distinctive feel compared to standard controller buttons, the overall benefit is subject to personal preference. Compatibility and Connectivity Designed to be compatible with a range of platforms, including PC, Switch, iOS, and Android, the controller offers broad usability. However, users should note that performance and compatibility might vary across devices. Back Keys and Customization The controller includes two custom back keys, which are a welcome addition for gamers looking to tailor their control setup. However, the process and utility of customization could benefit from further refinement for a more intuitive experience. Overall Impression The EasySMX X10 PC Controller is a solid choice for gamers looking for a customizable and versatile controller. While it introduces several promising features, the actual enhancements to the gaming experience are more evolutionary than revolutionary. It competes well in its price range, offering good value for those in search of a reliable alternative to mainstream controllers.
