I've tried multiple body composition devices ranging from cheap options from Renpho and clinic-grade options at the gym or the doctor's office. The H30 offers comparable results from the top shelf devices used in clinics, and much more detail and accuracy than the cheaper options, and it is priced reasonably in the middle to offer everyday at-home body composition tracking. If used correctly (as well described in the app or in the manual), it gives accurate and reasonable results for but not limited to skeletal mass, percent body fat, body metabolic rate (BMR) among many other variables. It's very sleek and well-designed with durable, good quality materials, with magnetic attachments for hiding cords. The app is also well-designed, and has multiple tracking capabilities and gives you an overall body score assessment based on all the variables measured. It's not laggy or glitchy. Overall, if you are looking for a reasonably accurate body composition device for everyday tracking of your progress at the gym or maintenance of your fitness, this is a very reasonable middle ground between cheap and less inaccurate options and clinic-grade devices. Highly recommended.

Best accuracy of all the body composition scales. Not precise though, readings will vary a point/pound per weigh in. If the app broke it down into segmental body analysis, would be perfect. ALMOST as good as the doctors office.

I don’t belong to a gym and have been trying to get an InBody reading for a while. I decided to splurge on this at home model and was excited to try it out. First, my expectations: I didn’t expect perfect accuracy. It’s not a Dexa scan and there are lots of variables that can affect the readings. That said, I was hoping to get a reasonably close reading and then use it over time to see my trends. It’s the trends that are most useful (in my opinion). Next, my results: I have no idea. Why? Because the results are wildly different every time I step on the scale. Not the weight measurement, but everything else. I’m not talking about day-to-day fluctuations. I’m talking about taking a reading and then taking a subsequent reading a minute later to confirm. Unfortunately, I can take 5 readings in 10 minutes and they vary wildly by about 10% sometimes, even more. Given this, I don’t think this unit is helpful even to track trends. I’ll be returning it.

Overall, the experience has been straightforward and convenient. I’ve found myself checking my body composition more regularly simply because it’s so easy to do from home.

First time ever buying a smart scale at home and I'm impressed at how amazing this one works! It came with everything that it says on the description. An app makes it easier to operate and save measurements even for multiple users, although I can still use it without the app. Works with batteries so it can be installed anywhere. Reasonable price and quite durable looks. I'm happy and I highly recommend this!

I wanted to like this thing. It tracks all sorts of measurements, gives you a nice historical graph of your progress, and is generally easy to use. However, while I know the "science" of measuring body fat in this manner can produce some varying results, I fully expected this scale to be consistent when it came to the weight aspect. I could stand on it, get a measurement, let it go back to sleep, stand on it again, and get a measurement that was 4 or so lbs different. This really made me question the accuracy of any of the measurements. I found myself deleting more and more entries from the historical graph just so it didn't completely mess up the visual of overall improvement. We ended up relegating it under a cabinet somewhere and it'll probably stay there until it pesters me about a low battery. Only reason why I give this a 4 is getting started wasn’t very easy. The tech is a bit confusing but the product is working well.

I like that it measures more than just weight — muscle mass, body fat percentage, and other metrics give you a clearer picture of actual fitness progress. The app is clean, readings are consistent day to day, and it pairs via Bluetooth without any fuss. A solid upgrade if you want more data than a basic scale provides.

I enjoy working out and was already familiar with InBody from using it at the gym. Being able to measure my body composition at home every day with the InBody Dial has been very motivating, and it allows me to conveniently check my condition at a time that suits me. While it is not the cheapest option on the market, I chose it because InBody is a well-known and trusted brand in the body composition analysis field, and I do not regret the purchase at all. There are many lower-priced alternatives available, but I preferred InBody for its reliability and brand credibility.
