So I just got diagnosed with type 2 diabetes at the age of 44 years old this April of 2025. Tldr it's been a long nightmare of a road trying to find good food and over snacks that are low-carb, low sugar and that actually tastes good. This is obviously falling under the category of something sweet to eat while also packing a good amount of protein. It not having any sugar in it and yet still actually tasting very much. So like a chocolate brownie was very surprising to me. Obviously it still doesn't taste like a real brownie with real sugar, but it's pretty darn close. Protein bar that makes for an easy quick snack that you can grab and take with you or keeping a package then. This is absolutely The thing you're looking for. I actually went with the galactic brownie bars, 12 count box. And I've ordered these a few times now since first getting them. Nice size, good quantity for the number spent, and the ingredients are all healthy which is great for my new diet. The texture is a bit hard, but is a firm brownie protein bar so that's to be expected. Holds up very well in warmer temperatures as well. Again would highly recommend, enjoy!

The texture is good and the flavor is great! The first one I tried was difficult to bite into. I warmed the second one in the microwave for 20 seconds and oh my goodness, it was yummy and way easier to bite into and chew. It satisfied my sweet tooth. My only problem is that there's only 12 to a box.

Love the whole Pure Protein line of bars, can't always find them in the store. Tasty, chewy, long lasting and a good price especially on subscription so I never run out.

This one is better than decent. It still has a very dark chocolate taste but the texture is great. My toddler loves these too. One of the better flavors.

Figured I'd write a review now that I've ordered this flavor 12-pack box 95 times. Amazing. Highest protein-lowest sugar and best tasting protein bar there is (I've tried every protein bar in existence).Some days I will literally just have a box of these that I eat throughout the day. I don't need other food.The chocolate peanut butter used to be my favorite (I ordered that box 129 times before I discovered galactic brownie). Thanks pure protein

These are just ok. I recommend the chewy chocolate chip instead as it tastes better. Still not a bad protein bar. These bars are very filling and satisfying. A great source of protein while taking a Glp1.

I’m obsessed with them, they taste so yummy it’s like you’re really eating a cosmic brownie from the 90s!! Just now protein lol. There’s no weird gritty feeling or taste, they do melt a bit in your hand but nothing to crazy. Just means eat it quicker lol. I keep them in my lunch bag with the ice bag cause if not it’ll squish up cause the top layer is chocolate frosting. Ugh I want one now lol. They’re not hard, they’re pretty soft. I have to hide them from my 4 year old haha he loves them! Who would have thought, since he passes on everything else. I don’t know it’s okay to give it to him but he took it and ran into the room by the time I realized what he was going and what he had, it was almost all gone. He was fine I had him drink plenty of water. He actually had taken one to school in his bag and I didn’t know until he got home & a small piece was left inside his lunch box hahahaha. Also they keep my full for longer, 1g of sugar!!!! Great price

These taste amazing!! They are so good it’s hard to believe they are so low on sugar and high on protein. My son who is a carb and sugar lover can’t tell that they are good for him. These will be a staple in our cupboard from now on.
