So I just got diagnosed with type 2 diabetes at the age of 44 years old this April of 2025. Tldr it's been a long nightmare of a road trying to find good food and over snacks that are low-carb, low sugar and that actually tastes good. This is obviously falling under the category of something sweet to eat while also packing a good amount of protein. It not having any sugar in it and yet still actually tasting very much. So like a chocolate brownie was very surprising to me. Obviously it still doesn't taste like a real brownie with real sugar, but it's pretty darn close. Protein bar that makes for an easy quick snack that you can grab and take with you or keeping a package then. This is absolutely The thing you're looking for. I actually went with the galactic brownie bars, 12 count box. And I've ordered these a few times now since first getting them. Nice size, good quantity for the number spent, and the ingredients are all healthy which is great for my new diet. The texture is a bit hard, but is a firm brownie protein bar so that's to be expected. Holds up very well in warmer temperatures as well. Again would highly recommend, enjoy!

My goto when I just need something and I don't want anything in particular. Of course its not a 1:1 to a little debbie, but if you squint your taste buds a little, its pretty close lol

Love the whole Pure Protein line of bars, can't always find them in the store. Tasty, chewy, long lasting and a good price especially on subscription so I never run out.

I like to have these bars on hand when traveling, they make for an easy breakfast along with some dried apricots. There is a decent amount of protein while not being too high in calories. The flavor is decent, though not my favorite. Not sure why these are described as they are, The chocolate flavor is definitely there, but there is nothing in the texture that remotely reminds me of a brownie. Not complaining, The taste is decent, especially for a protein bar. There are others out there from this brand that I prefer, but these would do if those were not available.

They’ve got this fun, cosmic vibe on the packaging, and for a second, you think you’re about to bite into something out of Willy Wonka’s factory. Spoiler: you’re not. The taste is... fine. It’s not terrible, but it’s not that good either. It’s like they wanted it to taste like a real brownie but got halfway there and said, “Eh, close enough.” The texture doesn’t help either. It’s dense, kind of chewy, and weirdly dry at the same time. If you’re expecting something rich and fudgy, this ain’t it. Now, they’re protein bars, so I wasn’t expecting magic, but still, the gap between how they look and how they taste is wild. It’s like seeing a perfectly iced cake that ends up being made of cardboard. They’ll do the job if you’re starving or need a quick boost, but they’re not the treat you think you’re getting. Final thoughts: They’re passable as a protein bar, but don’t let the “galactic brownie” name fool you into thinking it’s dessert.

The texture is good and the flavor is great! The first one I tried was difficult to bite into. I warmed the second one in the microwave for 20 seconds and oh my goodness, it was yummy and way easier to bite into and chew. It satisfied my sweet tooth. My only problem is that there's only 12 to a box.

They’re soft and they taste like a treat! They have a little crunch to them, sort of like it has some rice puffs in it, and I like the texture a lot. It’s a guiltless treat to make your day a little more fun!
