Optimum Unisex Senior Tribal Protective Top

Used several times now and this product has tested well on some tough rugby matches. My child likes the design and he doesn't object to wearing it like some of his other gear. Great value for money in my opinion.

After much agonising and one cancelled order at the eleventh hour, reading reviews, I finally got the Boys Large for my 9 year old daughter who plays U10s. Her measurements were 28” so was a bit confused, the sizes definitely seem to come up smaller than they say.They have started rucks, mauls and scrums so decided she could do with one. It is not skin tight but certainly not too big and in the coming winter with skins and layers it will be perfect and should last a couple of seasons.First tournament tomorrow so arrived just in time.Very impressed that it was ordered at 9pm and was here by 5.30 the next day.Very happy little girl now all ready to “go tackle some boys”

I got the Large boys for my son who is 8, but one of the taller lads in his team. It fits well around the shoulders and chest, with a bit of room to grow, but is quite short in the body. We decided to keep it as it's more important that the armoured part of the top, around the shoulders and chest fits, and it is worn under his kit, so nobody will see if it's a bit short.It's a good quality top, but he does get hot in it during a match, which he never did wearing regular skins under his shirt.

okay item, not sure it really gives much protection though and come up very very small - my son says its not comfortable what so ever when you get hot

Bought this product for my 10-year-old son it was a perfect fit giving him lots of room for skins underneath and rugby top above. Easy to remove the padding and wash the top and able to easily replaced the padding back in to the top. Very good quality material would buy again. I would recommend this product.

For the price paid a very good set of pads, As with a lot of the other reviews the sizing is a bit out. As a small bloke I ordered the size up and glad I did as the medium is a bit of a squeeze. That being said very comfortable and offers good protection in contact and added bit of confidence.
