Body-Solid GLPH1100 Leg Press & Hack Squat (New)

Great for the price. Solid feel, well constructed, great addition to our home gym, very happy. This was an easy build, just under 3 hours by myself. As others have noted, sort screws/washers first and label. Only complaint would be a longer seat. Others are selling the exact same machine just under a different product name. Tried buying from another Seller first. After 2 weeks of excuses I cancelled. I ordered this one from Gronk Fitness, within 24 hrs they reached out for some additional info and was shipped. Great Customer service.

We have a small gym and so all of our equipment must have more than one function. This leg press is also a hack squat as well as a calf press machine. It is prefect for your little office gym. It is a good quality machine. It has two faults - One, the is difficult to assemble because the instructions and parts are not well laid out. You will need to organize everything before you start. Second, There should be weight storage bars on the machine like many other brands. Other than that however, it is perfect.

Bayou fitness - product was delivered in less than 7days via UPS. The UPS guy was a gym rat and was more than glad to helpme lug the boxes into my workout gym/room. This is my second large order from Bayou fitness in the past 3 years and so far no problem with them. I will come back to Bayou fitness because they seem to always have the best price, free shipping & no taxes. Also good quality equipment. Just wish they carried more/different companies. BodySolid - leg press/hack squat machine. Took less than 6 hours for me and wifey to uncrate, organize, assemble & cleanup. The package was short some nuts and screws. We ended going to Home Depot rather make this a big issue w/BodySolid. This is our second large piece of equipment and BodySolid ultimately backups their 100% warranty for broken equipment is why I purchased the latest unit from them. The unit works very well so far. I'm pressing eight 45's and like the smoothness and stability. I'm 6'5 and my wife is 5'7" and so the unit is height friendly. The pull pin is in a weird spot but we work with it making adjustments to it under the foot pad. The footprint is much smaller than what you will find in most gyms yet it doesn't want for quality. Overall my wife and I are pleased with the overall performance. The hack squat and calf press works as advertised. Hack squats are smooth and effortless. We hesitate to give the unit 5STARS because (1) we haven't had the unit very long, (2) it lacked minor but necessary pieces and (3) the cushions could have been better quality.

Great piece of exercise equipment and even better was the customer service received from Gronk Fitness and the last mile delivery team at FedEx freight.

Very good value for your money. My husband and I are both the same Height. We are both 5’7...he has short legs and I have long legs. So with that in mind. Here my review. The machine itself is very well made. The pads are nice. I would say 90% of the machine is steel and very heavy. It doesn’t take up a lot of space. You can adjust the settings to fit your needs. Overall, I am very happy with my leg press. The bad part about the machine. Their clear plastic over the lettering. Be cautious pulling this off. All the boxes are very heavy. I would recommend the package being dropped off as close to the area where it will be used. How to put it together?? Unpack everything and make sure you have all the parts. Read the directions and follow them exactly. I would sort out all the screw. Check all sizes and match them together. This will save you a lot of headaches later. Again don’t skip and steps. I tried skipping a step and the frame would not fit together. The base will go together first and then the sides. I would recommend pre-fiting The frame before sliding the tran on. I turned the machine on it side to slide the tran on. Tran part is very heavy and needs to be put together first. However mine was already Assembled. I made sure it was put together correctly. Slide the Tran all the way down and stand the machine upright. Then assembly the back part of the frame. See pic above. Putting the machine together is hard if you don’t take your time. Note: If the Tran come Assembled it will look like your missing parts. Look at the Tran before calling anyone. Once you have put the frame part together the rest is easy. Just following the directions and you should be good. Seller review The seller was very helpful when I had problems with the shipping. They will need your phone number to set up drop off for the product. Amazon is not very clear about this. Any large heavy product will need to be delivered by box truck. You will also need to check your Amazon messages and your spam email. This was my mistake. The seller will help you out.

Solid construction. Well designed for a workout. Instructions for putting it together were crap. Make sure to use the enclosed instructions to measure the bolts. Online instructions were not to scale. Parts were not marked and bolts , nuts and washers came jumbled up together in a bag. Several stages were included on each page which should have had more pages and better resolution of detail. I ended up taking apart half of page 1 in order to accomplish stage 4. On page three is when you install the press into the side rails. This is not made clear at all. And the center beam at the end is in the way. I took this apart more than I put it together. I am semi-pro at building and these were the second worst instructions I have ever seen. A couple of bolts were inside the press and were impossible to tighten without an 18mm crescent wrench, which I had to purchase.

Wenn man diese Beinpresse bestellt, muss man bis zur Lieferung etwas Geduld haben, das lohnt sich aber. Gerät kommt in 5 Kartons, die auch alleine zur Wohnung geschafft werden können, sollte der Spediteur nicht helfen (die sind nämlich nicht dazu verpflichtet). Die Kartons sehen aufgrund der weiten Reise schon mitgenommen aus, aber innen war alles top. Sehr gute Verarbeitung, nichts kaputt. Der Aufbau sollte zu zweit gemacht werden und man muss etwas nachdenken und genau schauen, da die einzelnen Schritte innerhalb des Zusammenbaus auf der Anleitung nicht chronologisch geordnet sind sondern die einzelnen Schritte innerhalb der einzelnen Schritte (Step 1-8) nur insgesamt angegeben sind. Aber es ist gut machbar. Die Presse ist ein sehr gutes, qualitativ hochwertiges und sehr stabiles Gerät. Der Schlitten läuft sehr leise für Rollen und völlig ohne ruckeln. Das Training macht wirklich Spaß damit. Bei der Lieferung meiner Presse war der rechte Sicherheitshebel für die Ablage des Schlittens falsch. Dieser passte nicht nahtlos in die Führungsöse des Seitenteils, deshalb war dieser Hebel nur mit äußerster Kraftanstrengung zu bewegen. Das passiert halt, ist ja primär nicht schlimm. Aber hier trennt sich m.E. die Spreu vom Weizen bezüglich des Kundenservice. Die Firma bekommt von mir die vollen Sterne für die Bewertung, denn der Kundenservice ist hervorragend. Ich hatte dort gleich angerufen und der nette Kollege hatte auch gleich nutzbringende Tips auf Lager. Ansonsten lief die Kommunikation über Email (Email-Adresse auf der Homepage) exzellent. Auf die Antworten habe ich maximal 12 Stunden gewartet, das Ersatzteil wurde super schnell und anstandslos nachgesendet. Nun passt es perfekt und alles funktioniert tadellos. Vielen Dank an das Team für den wirklich tollen Kundenservice. Eindeutige Kaufempfehlung nicht nur wegen der Presse, sondern auch weil sich das Team auch danach kümmert und einen wirklich zufriedenen Kunden zurücklassen will. Top!!!

Die Beinpresse macht einen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck und wurde früher, als in der Bestellung angegeben, geliefert. Ich habe sie bis dato noch nicht viel genutzt, aber sie scheint von sehr guter Qualität zu sein. Die Ware wurde über eine Spedition in 5 Einzelpaketen angeliefert. Die Aufbauanleitung ist allerdings eine Vollkatastrophe. Hier ist nicht das eigentliche Problem, dass die Anleitung komplett in Englisch ist, sondern die Anleitung selbst ist schlichtweg stark verbesserungswürdig. So wird zum Beispiel überhaupt nicht richtig beschrieben wie der Schlitten in die Schienen eingeführt werden muss. Das war auch das Hauptproblem beim Aufbau. Ansonsten hat alles sehr gut funktioniert. Unbedingt darauf achten, dass man die mitgelieferten Schrauben in der richtigen Reihenfolge verwendet (nicht nur die Länge spielt hierbei einer Rolle, sondern auch der Durchmesser der Schrauben). Abgesehen von dem Schlitten, lässt sich die Beinpresse alleine aufbauen. Nichts desto trotz würde ich das Produkt auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.
