Goodness gracious, these things are great! Most of my family are like mosquito magnets, and we also had these little gnats that were tiny enough to make their way through our screens and driving us crazy in the house. We had tried several products that did very little and then we found these. We got several of these and put them a little ways out around our house and within two nights of using it, we no longer have an issue with gnats in the house at night and my family has been getting hardly any mosquito bites. The first few days of using it, we had to clean it out every day because it literally was covered with dead bugs that you could barely see through the grates. But it is super easy to clean with a leaf blower. The solar panel seems to have enough charge up during the day to last through the night, and even with charging it inside, which we did the first day of using it. Some we installed in the ground on stakes and others we attached to the fencing, so it's flexible for wherever you need to install them. They're also pretty light weight and feel durable, so we feel confident these little zappers will last us quite a while. Even though they're a bit more expensive than we wanted to pay for them, it honestly ended up being worth the cost for us because of how well they work.

I love this thing. We got it to control mosquitoes and flys on our patio as an alternative to mosquito control services. We got two, one on each side, and this has been a largely mosquito free summer. They sit in the yard, the solar panels recharge each day and they go all night I’m sure at some point the batteries will stop charging like solar lights but for the moment and the price you can’t beat it

It is crazy to think that I would ever buy a solar bug zapper - but here I am - owning 2 of them. They actually recharge even in overcast days. We had 2 days of rain, and these kept working great. I love the fact that I can actually put them anywhere (as long as it can get direct sun for best recharging). They actually come with an extension so you can place the zapper in spot that doesn't have a lot of sun itself and place the solar panel in a spot that gets sun. They are really easy to put together. Now I don't know how long they will last since most of this is made of plastic. I have had them for 1 month and very happy I purchased them.

This solar bug zapper is really convenient for outdoor use. I like that I don't have to worry about plugging it in or running an extension cord. The solar panel charges during the day and the light comes on automatically at night. The 4500V zapper does a good job of attracting and taking care of flying bugs around the patio. It's also nice that it's waterproof, so I can leave it outside without worrying about it.

I have no complaints about this unit. It is solar-powered, so no wiring is required, which makes installation very easy. I placed it near my koi pond to help eliminate mosquitoes. The results are easy to see from the number of dead mosquitoes collected. I would recommend this unit to anyone who has a pond, lawn, or a lot of plants in their yard. Although it is a little expensive, I think it is worth it as a one-time investment. Now, let's see how well it holds up over time.

First unit I received charged under full sun all day and only stayed on for 45 min. Submitted a return and a new unit came in a few days later. Happy to say the second unit after a days charge stayed on a zapped bugs till 3am ( not too shabby ). The only thing that kept me from giving this a 5 star review is that although it came with a long cord for mounting the solar panel remotely, it did not come with any brackets. It’s a slight inconvenience, nevertheless one should’ve been included.

Very easy to set up and use. Looks good sitting in the yard. Worked really well after it was charged up. Amazing how many bugs it zapped !

This works so good!! The best I have bought. I love the solar panel energy so I don’t have to have electricity to use it! Even though it does come with that option. It even has an extension (line for extra length) line for the solar panel. It’s portable! Making it convenient to carry wherever I go. It attracts bugs instantly and kills them. It will stink and smoke a little for a few seconds when large insects like moths and flying hard shell beetles die. But I don’t mind. Just move it away from me. I also like the way you can hang it or stake it in the ground. Makes it versatile. It does have a loud popping noise when the small bug is electrocuted. I don’t mind that either. I do highly recommend this. I have had no issues with it. Charges well with the solar panel. Operates well.
