Ry Cooders work on this album is amazing. Listening to this you can feel his love for his guitar and the texacanna riff making he so enjoys. But also the beauty he exerts in each pluck and warble is a testament to how well knitted the whole production of the film Paris Texas was at the time.Im a huge Wenders fan, and this soundtrack (much like the Blade Runner and like the Jackie Brown Soundtrack) feels like the nuts and bolts of the atmosphere of the film. The music is incredibly integral, and brings out images of deserts and cactus, blue baking sky and shimmering landscapes from the go.I rate this soundtrack extremely highly.

Very atmospheric and evocative. If you're a blues fan you'll especially appreciate it. There's a strange track which consists of dialogue from the film - otherwise I'd have given it five stars.

Replacing a worn out disc. What more do you need to know?

Genius musician, see the film which is also great, but you don't need to in order to appreciate the haunting guitar music of Ry Cooder.

great album and incredible value for money

Ry Cooder is an acquired taste and brilliant artist.As owner of his previous recordings am not surprised by his majestic composition/playing on this soundtrack-incredible ability to connect sounds with landscapes.Check out his stupendous collaborations with another legendary musician Ali Farka Toure on Grammy Award ---"Talking Timbuktu ".....Not 5star due to rather lengthy monologue track near end of cd.Genius

this was a Christmas present for my husband and he really loved it it came well before the due date in plenty of time was very happy with this purchase and would recommend this site to family and friends

そんな旅情をかきたてる作品。色んな景色がイメージできるが、どこか漠然とした不安も感じる、正に旅しながら次の行き先を、あるいはここが何処なのか、考えている気分にさせられる。アメリカ留学中に迷いながら西海岸をドライブした事を思い出した。本作は程よい浮遊感もあるので、寝る前のチルアウトにもおすすめ。
