Rolife Workshop DIY Miniature Dollhouse Kit Creative Gift for Adults

This is a great addition to my mini city Tiny Town. It was pretty easy to follow the video except this brown tool chest tried to whoop me! I found a video that helped I never found the red bar for the red chest on wheels. Though it says no glue needs I did use some for stability. I found the glue sticks did not work well. Suggestion is to have a very light weight mallet and clear glue.

I love the miniature kits from Rolife and have several. This garage scene was simpler than some of the others my grandchildren and I have done, but it was perfect for my two grandsons, 12 and 9, to work on together. It took them about 3-4 hours total time and most of it is snap together or backed with adhesive. Some glue was used for the tiny little parts and the wood furniture pieces. The instructions were clear and the pieces well-labeled. These boys have put together Lego sets far above their age level, so they are experienced with tiny pieces; it might take others longer. They really liked this as a change of pace.

Giving this a 5 because it was mostly easy and created a nice finished product. But the instructions deserve more of a 3, and were hard to interpret sometimes, and the brown tool chest was especially difficult - if I were a beginner I probably would have given up. Old school Sylvanian Families for scale.

This kit is fun. I’ve done several others and it was nice to not use glue. The pieces all fit together but my fingers are not strong so I used a small hammer to carefully seat the joints. The double stick tape works great but it took some patience to get the backing paper off. I did glue some things to the floor to keep from losing them. Also, the saw kept falling off of the pegboard so I glued it. The instructions are easy to follow. It’s neat that the little drawers and doors really open. The decals go on easily and enhance the scene. I would recommend this kit to anyone who enjoys building models.

This was such a fun and easy build. It came with everything a beginner would need and doesn't require any glue. I did still use glue just to make sure everything remained secure. Loved the garage scene and the rolling tool box. So much fun and great quality.

Excellent product

This is the most adorable garage you will ever see. With clear directions and parts list, it goes together in a logical way. The parts list is separate from the instructions so it is easy to consult and confirm the parts. The wood is a bit flimsy, but it all fit together with no breakage. Cute plastic stickers adorn various elements and look more like decals than stickers, which is a plus. It comes with double sided tape, while not too hard to apply, just doesn’t always stick well, so I just resorted to glue. Easy one lamp wiring illuminates the whole scene. I made this for my 5 year old grandson who loves cars. I can’t wait to see his face when he gets it.

Easy to assemble and fun.

wooden pieces are way harder to put together than the plastic rolife sets however all the details make for a cute set
