Works great especially if you wish to make low sugar jams/jellies. I've been using this brand for years and years and I consistently get good results. Highly recommended.

Like the title to this review indicates, this low/no sugar pectin is a GODSEND! Originally, I made my jams with Sucralose (Splenda), but the end results, while tasty, were somewhat 'cloudy', so I decided to switch to white and/or brown sugar, usually getting away with 1/4 to 1/3 of the sugar required in a jam recipe (which can be as much as 12 to 14 cups of white sugar, in a single batch). I usually make a double batch, inwhich I use about 1/3 jar of this pectin, and *maybe* 4 cups of sugar, then cook to soft-gel stage, then jar & water-bath process, as usual (as I'm at a higher elevation, I have to process for a longer period) Everything always turns out great - bonus: with less sugar, you can taste more of the actual fruit! ๐ If you're looking to reduce the sugar content in your jams & jellies, this is the stuff to get - enjoy!!!
