Works well...nice and small. The drive is used in an awkward, tight location and the open "O" part on the back makes it convenient to remove the drive using a coat hangar when I need to extract it.

I love this little drive and use it on a daily basis. I have never had any issues.

File transfer speed not as advertised. SLOW!!! I was thinking that all the other negative review were from people who didn't know how to format their drive correctly, but nope... Save yourself the money and buy from a different brand that isn't lying to your face... FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!

Kingston USB is the only I trust.... been with me for last 7 years... It was time to change and I got an upgraded more storage version.... Works well so far

Was looking for a large capacity flash drive with both USB 3.0 AND USB C connection, but settled with this option. The plus - Large capacity (just what I was looking for). The neutrals - The stated speed was less than what was advertised. It is FASTER than USB 2.0, on Most occasions. The engineered solution (cashing memory?) can only offer a limited duration of speed improvement. However, when it comes to large-capacity reading or installation, it is still very slow. - No USB C port. The days when this drive is still be reached is numbered. The WHAT - When using this device, it occasionally has a "hick-up". Most of the time it is short (about a couple of seconds) which is toleratable. There are various incidents when it lasted more than 10 seconds. It may be the drive is waiting to cool itself off, but when it interferes with auto-saves, it is a no-no. Wish I can find a large capacity drive that I can give a 5 stars.

It usually does what it needs to for the price, but I had to edit the review after a few months of use - both drives will sometimes quit writing for no apparent reason, and that makes it hard to be patient. Further consideration suggests the drives are too narrow. I own 3 other DT Micro drives from Kingston that are a micron or so thicker and never have this issue. With the SE9 I've also had an issue with data that did not properly delete and is still diminishing drive space. I took it to the company website for assistance. After corresponding with their Technical Support department for a week via email, and sending them various screen shots, I was not given any solution at all. Kingston has a free program called iCare that shows the files on the drive but it will only recover them, not delete them. I was even willing to pay extra for software that might do what my Chromebook cannot, but I was told my problem did not even exist by someone just collecting a paycheck. So it is what it is.

Kingston is perfect, I'm using this brand of flash drives since more than 10 years, no problems at all up to moment, very reliable brand, highly recommended 👍

Do not buy!!! The slowest flash drive I have ever bought.

Worst usb drive I've ever owned. It doesn't even reach the advertised speeds. After around 6 months of light use the drive starts to fail. While writing to the drive the speed will drop to 0kb/s every 3-5 seconds.

It's a thumb drive, it works.
