Perfect Solution For Small Businesses, And A Great Upgrade For Large Home Systems. Read more --
We've had Ubiquiti networking pieces for a while now. It started with a couple AP's managed via a Raspberry PI, added an EdgerouterX when a prior Security Gateway turned out to be not so secure. With a local available upgrade to gigabit internet service, it's again time to upgrade for the higher throughput, plus this cloud gateway ultra bundles Unify the management tasks with some security functions the EdgerouterX isn't quite as good at. Instant plusses include no-subscription access to a listing of known-bad sites to block, with a few levels of filtering available. It also supports VLANs natively, a nice feature that lets me segregate business, entertainment, and guest access pretty easily. The Unify console manages more than enough Ubiquiti devices to support our SOHO operations with two separate professional service businesses operating out of our home. The capabilities list includes multiple options for VPN access, which when paired with the VLAN capabilities completely isolates the two businesses and the rest of our home needs. Al in a compact and low-power package that lives in my server closet. I'm still learning all the capabilities, but plenty of info and support is available through Ubiquiti's own support resources and a fairly robust online user support base. So far I'm pleased with how it's working and how easy it is to configure. If you are working on a system that demands security and performance well beyond what my ISP describes as, [cough], "robust", but don't care to go all the way to a Meraki or similar with a subscription model, this may be the answer for you. At barely over $100, it's a fraction of the cost of those Cisco options even without the subscription costs added on. After some of the hard-coded backdoor access options revealed in our last 'security' gateway, I'm a little skittish about a few of the other mid-grade pro-sumer options available now. After a few years with the Edgerouter, I'm pretty comfortable staying in the Ubiquiti product family, especially with being able to consolidate so many functions into the one little package. Are you looking for a more secure and comprehensive upgrade from typical consume routers and wifi products? Got a range of user access needs? Got a small to medium business where you want to closely maintain user access and security for both staff and guests? This may be your answer. It has been for us so far.

SOHO VPN endpoint- works great!
I have been using this device for a few years now. I don't own ANY other Ubiquiti devices- I use this as a hardware VPN endpoint, and it works great! It keeps my work-at-home network segmented from the rest of the house and maintains and IPSEC tunnel with our Cisco Firepower Threat Defense security device at work. Reasonably easy to use, I found it amazing how much this little thing can do , as evidenced by the deep options in the configuration app. Very nice looking gizmo, great value!

So good it's almost unbelievable
Now that I've had this router for a few weeks, I wish I would've switched to Ubiquiti years ago. It's hard to believe how good this router is. Let alone for the price it sells at. It has every setting you could possibly need for home networking and really just about everything for corporate use as well. It's extremely fast and responsive when making any changes to settings. My old Netgear router had to reboot every time I changed anything. This one doesn't have to reboot, it just updates goes along with what it was doing. I love that I can access the router remotely by default. But, you can turn that off if you don't want it. It's also easy to manage the Ubiquiti Wi-Fi access points that I have connected. I like the little screen on the front that shows the current number of clients and traffic. As of the time I'm writing this, the router has been up for 29 days without any issues or slowing down of traffic. I had to reboot my old router at least once a week and it would still drop clients randomly. This has been rock solid since install.

Amazing device
I bought a TP Link and the failover was working but once my primary internet was back online, it would not switch back to the primary. Unify is working correctly and switch back. The failover is perfect and fast! The app is amazing, the local dashboard has ALL options. This product is a dream.

Works flawlessly with my UniFi Wifi Mesh System
Being able to monitor and configure just about every since part of my network and the hardware as well has made my life so much better. The price was very fair for the stability and features this device added. Would buy again!

compact, full UniFi OS network controller experience, absolute no-brainer.
I’ve been running the Ubiquiti Cloud Gateway Ultra (UCG-Ultra) in a small office environment, and it has performed completely flawlessly. The standout feature for us is the expanded multi-WAN support. We have it configured with 3 different Internet Service Providers (ISPs) simultaneously for maximum uptime, and the load balancing and failover routing handle it effortlessly. It’s compact, completely silent, gives you the full UniFi OS network controller experience without subscription fees, and doesn't break a sweat with full IDS/IPS threat protection turned on. If you run a small business or a demanding home office where internet reliability is non-negotiable, this little box is an absolute no-brainer.

Why oh why did you have a power brick I can't possibly use in your "overnight delivery?"
I'm torn writing this review. The UCG itself is probably great, comes highly recommended, the reason I am writing this review is because the STUPIDITY of the seller. I got this particular model because it was available OVERNIGHT from the Ubiquiti store near my home in SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. So WHY did it come with a EU power adapter? Your guess is as good as mine. It uses USB-C for power, and I have other USB-C adapters, so this wasn't the hardship for me it would be for many, but it's just breathtakingly stupid to have something with an EU power brick in your overnight store in SoCal.

It's awesome!
My first introduction to the Ubiquiti products, and there is no turning back now. Things changes, and we needed to use VLANS on our network. and the existing well tuned, rock solid, ASUS RT-AX55 router based mesh network could not comply. This pretty small UCG box has become the basis of our new network, initially dropping in front of the RT-AX55 main unit, with ease, becoming the DHCP server while the multi-node RT-AX55 mesh network remained intact and slowly switched over to VLAN capable equipment. Updates and functionality upgrades have been consistently forthcoming over the last 2.5 months. Device restarts/reboot seem far longer than the ASUS RT-AX55 routers, so patience is required, and seems to be consistent across the Unifi product lineup. The Unifi Network control system is very much expansive and takes a lot of getting used too with many, many things to adjust, set, and tweak. Our new Ubiquiti/Unifi-based network is rock solid and quickly becoming a well-tuned network as I learn 'all' of the ropes.

Powerful Network Management
Really impressive. I’ve been able to manage my home network with so much peace of mind. However, if you’re not a techi, ChatGPT is amazing. Just share screenshots and your ideals and it will guide you.

Parfait mais un peu cher
Tres bon petit routeur, j'ai meme gagner un peu en debit sur le reseau local. Permet d'avoir la gestion des autres périphériques Ubiquiti dans une seule interface, c'est tres convivial à l'utilisation

Grym router utan WiFi WiFi
Superbra, lätt att konfigurera, känns snabb och får bra hastigheter Viktigt att notera att denna är utan WiFi så man behöver AP för WiFi
