Excellent Product
A little larger than I expected which wasn't a bad thing, timer was easy to set for feeding and is really great for everyday use along with being gone for the weekend. I would definitely buy this again. Very easy to fill and affix to your aquatic tank. The fish food dispenses absolutely perfect due to being able to adjust the amount dispensed each time. It doesn't matter if it's flake or pellet food. The door has never gotten stuck and works as it should. An excellent product for the price. I will say that I have a hexagonal tank; therefore I had to place this on the front. Still giving 5 stars even with the size.

Worked perfectly while on vacation!
The Freesea fish feeder worked perfectly while we were away on a 16-day vacation for our fresh water fish tank using tropical flakes. We set the feeder to feed every 8 hours and it appears to have worked perfectly, not over or under feeding.

Cover when rainy
Works well. Place in area where rain or water will not affect the food. 8/12/24 hour settings should be considered with your fishโsโ feeding schedule.

Adjust the door flap
Love it! Just make sure you push the little door to adjust the amount given. We didn't know it can move forward and it dumped a HUGE amount of food in the tank.. We had to clean the tank out immediately after bc ut was so much for!

Good concept
The concept of this is great and I was excited to get it for use when I am traveling. However, the product is a bit clumsy and doesn't work well with all types of fish food. You also need a fairly sizeable space for the product to attach to the tank. I was disappointed but kept it too long so I didnt return it.

Helpful!
Very helpful when you need to leave for a day or more. It has time settings so your fish will always be fed, you can set it to feed your pet fishs multiple times a day if desired and stay happy while you are away!!

Doesn't work with flake food
Product was very easy to set up and operate. We use flake food for our fish. Even with the food dispenser wide open it only released a few flakes. I crushed the flakes almost to a powder and it worked much better. It would dispense the correct amount of food the 1st time, then partially clog, release a small amount of food the 2nd time, then again would release the correct amount of food the third time. This might work great for a different type of food. Hope this helpsDoesn't
