My son loved this build and it was his first technic set. He’s 13 and didn’t have any issues with assembly at all. Great experience. Looks amazing. Great price. Super fun.

I love this Lego set. It was so much fun to put together. Easy to follow instructions. Kinda expensive, but so very worth it. I love it.

I jumped on this release of the F1 Petronas Mercedes because I wanted to have another large scale F1 Lego model to compliment my McLaren. The designers at Lego took this new model a step further than the previous one with quite a bit more detail. As you can see, the stickers are broken up to meet joint lines of the Legos, some good and some not so good. This model shares some similar build structures underneath, however, it really is significantly different than the McLaren in so many ways, which I really enjoyed. I will 100% be buying the next one that comes out. Build time could easily be done in a day if totally dedicated, however, I took about 4 days spending roughly 4 hours a day as time permitted.

Had a lot of fun building this Lego. unfourtunately one of the pieces hat a malformation, and since I brought it back to my country, was not able to get a replacement easily. Fourtunately I was able to force it to the right shape and continue the build. Had no other problems with the building phase.

Nice model to display on the shelf!! It was the right challenge level and you have to pay close attention to which parts you select for each build step and how they show how to position stuff because several times, I had to retrace steps to correct errors on my part. They do number the tricky larger parts and decals well and the thick instruction book was clear and overall, this was a very enjoyable build, which took about 12 - 16 hours. I do not think a young child would be able to do this alone without adult help, but it would be a good project.

So many stickers, but a beautiful build. Always nice seeing it come together, and making the little differentials and whatnot. A fun, yet professional decoration for the office. Luckily never had an issue with missing parts, but always a surplus of the little guys. It does seem like it is priced higher than it should be, but it could be just for the branding, which is fine. Looks more realistic and detailed to me than most of the other Lego technic cars.

Instructions are well organized and complete. Using the instructions book along with the Lego Builder app makes it a real pleasure to assembly this project. The instructions guide you step-by-step using numbered bags for each part you assemble. The stickers make this car stand out. It took a few days of couple hours each. The end result is a real big and beautiful F1 car. I placed it on the wall and it simply looks awesome. Super recommended!
