These little square fire starters work great! We usually break them in half since we don't actually need to whole thing to start our pellet stove.They instantly catch fire and burn for a good 5 min or so. We have been using them for a couple months. I will be reordering these when we need more.

At first I was concerned by the small size. But they light easily and hot enough to light the kindling quickly.

A little annoying to get lit sometimes but once they're lit they stay lit

I use a butane torch to light fire starters. I've found these are unusually difficult to light. I saved a few cents buying these instead of the brand name fire starters I've purchased before. But now I'm spending quite a bit more on butane in an effort to keep these burning. Not at all recommended.

The main thing that I like about these wood starters versus the others that are basically the same thing is that they come already broken into the individual squares. The others come in a scored sheet that you have to break apart into the indiviual squares....these are easier to use.

Been buying this type of product for years. This batch is the slowest to light I've bought. Cannot recommend
