Awkward to use at first but does the job once you get the knack. Something strangely satisfying about hoiking all of that soil and seedlings out on to the floor! Cleared 6m of guttering that was FULL OF soil and plants in 30 minutes. No ladder required. Looks like its glass filled injection molded so it'll last years. Recommended

I wanted something to help with my garage gutters, due to a tree right behind it, so always full of leaves, but i did not want to spend much, I had purchased a scoop but the area around my garage is uneven so difficult on a ladder, and as I had a pole for my loft windows, I wondered if this would fit, and it did, I then only needed the attachment, it can be expensive if you need a pole attachment and this angle adapter but it gets the job done with ease. You also need to make sure you get the right end part for the shaped gutters you have.

Bought this as I already have the end to go in our round gutters, I've only had a quick go with is doing a gutter around 8 or 9 foot hight whilst staying on the ground. It would be quite useful if you don't want to keep moving a ladder along a long low gutter or for a gutter you can't get high enough to with a ladder. Easy to set up on an extendable pole but I did notice that when I pulled it in one direction it kept undoing itself which was a bit annoying but in the other direction it was fine. I plan to share use of this with my mum as it's not useful enough that we would need one each.

This attachment to my extending pole meant I could fit bits, such as a scoop, to clean out my gutters! The one slightly annoying thing was in use it kept coming loose, not off but loose! I fixed this by fitting a clamp between it and the pole, so it now stays rigid! Bit pricey but pretty unique!

I bought this and the angle adapter plus the Harris extendable pole so that I could reach my gutters without moving the ladder, once it was in position, as the ladder is very heavy and awkward to move at my age, mid 70's. In a perfect world, this equipment should do the job admirably. Unfortunately, the gutters of our house are not as shown in the advert's photo with plenty of room for the scraper to do its job, so the scraper kept getting stuck on either the overhanging tiles or the clip supports for the guttering. This then leaves lumps of moss in the gutter. This is not the fault of the product but the way in which our guttering is in relation to the tiles etc. Our guttering is linked to our neighbours guttering either side so it has to line up as they have the down pipes. I shall have to trim the scraper to a better shape to fit our situation which is why I've entitled the review as ''Check your gutters first''. I have not used the angle adapter which I've just put in a drawer for future use.

This fitted perfectly in my guttering and with a long reach arm I was able to stand on just a step ladder to clean the gutters. Scooped lots out. It feels very strong and durable and it’s handy you can get adjust the angle just right too!
